    Item Weight 160.05 kg

These these are awesome, but make sure you know where you want to put it & get it delivered to that spot.

My concern would be how an Amazon delivery driver would be doing this - I doubt they'd be willing to take it into the backyard for you? Assuming they even ring the doorbell. On the plus side, gotta be a pretty determined porch pirate to steal this off your doorstep

      • True true, Dragonfly couriers just leave Amazon deliveries at the front.
Is there a field for delivery instructions….

  • Can't be shipped to extremely metro SA

Unlucky for the person who has to deliver this using their yaris

1799 at Bunnings. This is the best thing I've ever bought, I use the gas bbq maybe 6 times a year now, and that's only when it's pissing down rain or I'm just using the cast iron plate and not getting any benefit from charcoal.

  • +3

I got mine for around $1600 delivered from Bunnings 5% price beat with BBQs galore sale. Just need to wait for a sale.

    • +2

I was thinking of doing something similar but BBQs galore have removed all Classic series I and II and Big Joe series I from their website. I spoke to a staff member at one of their stores and they said they won't be stocking those models anymore. Looks like I just missed out on the clearance sale.

  • Damn you can get a pellet smoker, smokey mountain, offset smoker and a kettle at this price.

    • +2

Where would one put all those things though. I do all my smoking, grilling, reverse searing and pizza making in this thing.

      • +1

I mean the smokey mountain does the same thing as this for a fraction of the price. Only thing this does better is holding temps against wind, nothing a thermal blanket or wind shields can't do for the wsm

  • How's this compared to Big Joe III? Major upgrade other than the cooking areas?

    • Looks like the big differences are:

      • AirLift Hinge for easy lid opening.
      • SlōRoller Hyperbolic Smoke Chamber for even smoke distribution
      • Three tier instead of two tier Divide & Conquer Flexible Cooking System
      • Premium steel cart
      • Aluminium side shelves
      • Charcoal basket
      • Kontrol tower top vent

I would also highly rate this firehawk - https://www.firehawkgrills.com.au/

This product is made in the same factory as the Kamado Joe so you know the quality is there and the price point is lower. I picked up mine at BBQ galore last yr for about $1100. As called out in previous post MAKE SURE YOU KNOW WHERE ITS GOING AS THESE THINGS A F*&KING HEAVY

    Cheaper at Bunnings
    https://www.bunnings.com.au/kamado-joe-24-inch-big-joe-serie…

Why pay Bezos when you can get it from Bunnings?

    • $10 for 160kg delivery.. haha
