Not true in fact from 100 units sold we had 3 returns. The main issue with this unit is that you must use alkaline or lithium batteries. No Heavy duty
I'm sorry but your return rate may not be indicative of the actual failure rate.
We still have four of these which we have not returned, we have 4 failures out of 4 units purchased from different vendors.
We all used Alkaline batteries.
Sorry, but these units are crap.
I have one and know 3 others with the same model.
They all have issues with the outdoor unit not sending data most of the time (even if only a few metres away) and also chewing through the batteries.
Australia post tried selling them, but they had a lot of returns.
Works fine for indoor temp.
