  Last time I booked on Webjet, they took my credit card payment only to get in touch with me 2 days later asking for photocopies of drivers licence, and the actual credit card front and back… and if I didnt they would cancel my booking. Basically treated me like a criminal.

  My credit is spotless and the transaction was completed and funds withdrawn from my account on the day, so there was no cause for alarm. I'll never use them again.

  Inconvenient and over the top "customer service" claiming they were protecting me!
  Asses. Sorry OP… neg due to 'major issue with retailer' (rules).

  webjet is dodgy last time i saw good price and almost made a booking. last minute it refreshed the price. used Expedia instead.

  yeah stick to hotelclub, rates to go, expedia or hotels.com. I am still waiting for a refund on a hotel after cancelling 3 weeks ago. Those other sites always refund in 2 - 3 days! Beware.

  Recently used webjet 50 off >300 spend for 5 nights in bkk..
  Was cheaper than Hotels/hotelclubr/rates2go/etc with their coupons and cashbacks.
  No issues.
  (Paid with flybuys points)

  Booked a hotel with them a while back and it was definitely the best of any other offer, both before and afterwards.

  No issues with credit cards or ids, was straightforward.

  Would certainly go with them again if the deal looked the best.

  imho webjet shouldn't even be allowed here, I was shocked with all their fees . Any of their deals will only look good until you go to the checkout . Booking fee, credit card fee, price guarantee fee ,etc
  Expedia, hotels.com, travel.com.au, byojet booking.com, all better companies for flights and hotels
