Now the coupon applied but it didn't discount the card.
I don't want to get the blank page anymore, hate to place dispute again.

yeah, i'm about to give up. got all the way to the confirm/place order page, clicked "i accept terms" but the place order button is greyed out. useless
I get a dialog box saying:
"Undefined"
after 'place order' it froze. will dse still email the code and is this transaction complete?
I clicked place order and it loaded up a blank page but I got my paypal invoice in my email.
It's also already showing in orders list of the My Account page on the DSE site.
Check there to make sure.
I really considering that we are well deserved the extra $5 credit after all these hard work to placed a order.

It will probably charge me 10 times now.
Discount applied, shows as $10, I selected paypal as payment, it showed as $5, ended up with blank screen back on dick smiths site, refreshed and said token had already been used. Have now checked my paypal, payment processed. Now checked ds account and gift card @ $5 shows up.
Exact same thing happened to me so hopefully it's all good.

yeah I used paypal aswell, got the paypal emailing saying my account had been charged $5 so we will see if it actually worked or not.
Last time i've got the same issued on iTunes gift card but I still received my gift card couple days later, I'm assuming they will honored it, but finger cross.

I tried a few times and kept getting paypal refused transaction on the place order screen (back at the dick smith website). Now I have 2 receipts from paypal so they were not rejected but no confirmation from dick smith. I think there is a slim chance they will honour so time to think about getting refund if it does not work.
Same here, I've got two $5 payments to dick smiths in paypal but no confirmation emails from Dicksmiths or anything in my Dicksmiths account, I'll just wait and see otherwise just lodge two paypal disputes and paypal can do the dirty work
I have email Dick Smith as well to see what they have to say. It is about time these places looked at implementing a better on-line order/payment system. Especially since they are pushing on-line business with continuous sales. I wonder how many "real" people get the benefit of these sales.

I had problems doing this with Firefox so I cleared my cart and got it using chrome not logged into dick
So upon placing order, I got the "undefined" error, so I clicked on the order button again, same error pops up. At this stage I'm still on the place order page. Checked my credit card and it has been charged $5 twice, wtf???

Then back to confirm order on DS website and had to update order details to proceed.
Did that and it changed invoice to $10 total.Got the Paypal email saying the total is $10
