  Good price but the normal Hd25s have been on sale for around 150, definitely better to hold off for them instead of the Sps unless needed urgently.

    i really doubt you will see them down at $150 anytime soon, was $160 i think at the start of the year and nothing has come close since..

    whats the difference? there are also HD25-sp IIs. so confusing…

      Primarily the head band….the HD25-1 II has a split head band compared to the single peice of the SP model. The other differences are the higher resistance in the HD25-1 II (70ohm vs 60ohm) and a slightly larger range (16hz-22kHz vs 30Hz-16kHz). The HD25-1 II's are a better, professional orientated headphone whereas the HD25-SP is more consumer.

      That said, I have not seen a good price on the HD25-1 II's (or the Adidas co-branded version) in a long time, the best was the Adidas co-branded HD-25-1 II's I got from DSE for $140 delivered back in December 2012. It was a 30% off Headphones deal. I'm not sure if DSE still stock them though, but there have been some good headphone sales

  Beware this version, the HD25SP is vastly inferior to the beloved HD25, both in construction and sound quality

  Just in the market for a decent set of headphones after buying all those < $40 ones on sale, thanks OzBargain! It's so confusing, there are so many options, not sure where to start!
