This is very typical of paintball places - offer some ridiculously low price (sometimes as low as a dollar) for entry and then make you pay through the roof for the paintballs.
A normal day of paintball involves around 800-1000 paintballs being fired. So you are definitely not going to have enough for a decent day if you use this deal and don't plan on buying paintballs.
not sure if 100 paintballs will last one round unless you fire single shots with the crappiest gun.
I find that the group got to play by agreed rules. For example, limit the paintballs per round. If not, it is the same like some MMORPG the more you pay the more advantage you get. So that it is a game of accuracy as well as tactical.

if the paint balls are a good price (the gotcha) as this deal includes some paint balls then yeah this is a good deal, the guys neging are just being ass's.. unless they have looked up the price of paintballs…
typically a decent day of paintballing costs around 100=200 bux depending on how much you shoot…

the paintballs are a standard price, 12 bux for the first 100 is pretty good… I wouldn't pay for entry to one of the places so its 8 bux off, 100 bux for the whole day typically so not bad..
$160 for 1000 paintballs ($16 per 100 paintballs) is a decent enough price.
$160 + $12 for a single day of paintball? Seems like an overwhelmingly average price to me. In fact I'd suggest this is actually slightly on the expensive side as far as paintball goes. I can't see how we're being asses for negging a deal which really shows no difference from other paintball deals.
Yeah, I've seen many that offer free entry, but not many that give the first 100 paint balls cheaper… Typically I'd go though 500 or less as I don't shoot like a machinegun.
All i can say is call the field directly and see their packages.
These things suck you in by killing you with the price of additional paintballs.
Great effort on your first post, Hazyman. I was sold one of the deal like this in Westfield for $25 each x 4 - did not end up going. It is a special compare to normal price, only people who are new to the game need to be aware the Catch on the Day COTD.
