I had a look at them instore and they look like they are only worth 12.88 to me…
I'm looking for cheap over-ear headphones to use at the gym (in-ear or hook headphones always fall out). These look a little heavy at first glance. Has anyone found sports headphones under $20? Appreciate any suggestions.
Try sticky tape, it works well and you can save your $20…
dude its for sports.. use sports tape!
rubber band
any bargains for sticky tape?
Try Officeworks.
Suggestion: sports in ear. Such as sennheiser/addidas ones.
not $20…but eelectronics ones are good.
Blue colour with the same price:
Blueother colours available as well..
So are these over the ears (aka on the ears) or circumoral? (around the ears)
or circumoral?
wouldn't that be around the mouth ?
but seriously I meant circumaural

why not pickup from store.?
because that would require moving from your PC.
Which is no good if you are a shut-in.
Seriously.. are you still in 2001
What, didn't it work for you guys? Still showing as in stock for me..
Nothing funny about linking Rick Astley. Just a very weak, very unoriginal "joke" that was never funny.
Lol, you guys needa lighten up and take a joke sometimes! Life's too short to be serious =)
Apologies if I was being offensive to anyone though.
@montorola:
Plenty light here.
The whole annoying people with Rick thing is beyond over, though. This is not a comment.
Lol at all those negs from people who got Rolled. Nice work Montorola!
@tommy-darko:
"Nice work Montorola"
That's right tommy a mislabeled link is really funny . That there is some clever A grade comedy. Total pisser..if it is 2004 and you are seven.
Nice. Haven't been rick Rolled in a few years.
Just been to OW on Adelaide St Brisbane, there were only a few White and Orange, plus 1 Blue left (as of 1200), but seems like it's their normal price though as there were no handwritten yellow price tags on as they normally do on specials or clearance, correct me if I am wrong. :-)
but seems like it's their normal price though
careful what you say in MM's posts or he will neg you…
I grabbed a white one when it was cleared in Coles for $10. For the price, I'm quite happy for its sound quality. I just use it in workplace and not a heavy listener on headphones anyway.
One caveat though, the plastic material of the headphone may be the cause of its clenching your head more tightly than necessary, so after ~30 minutes your ears may complain, not because of the sound but the force. I'm definitely not a person with huge head size.
Just received their current catalogue.
They are listed as the $12.88, New Everyday Price…
So no need to rush…
I went to OfficeWorks Clarence St Sydney to check them out and the headphones look awful and cheap. Also, they only had them bright blue and red… So, I passed.
Stay well away from these things.
Even though Philips makes some of the best budget headphones on the market, these are nowhere near their finest hour.
The cups are big enough for a newborn fetus's ears but not an adult's, the sound quality is terrible, tinny and distorted and the headband is way too small. They're also made of really cheap, creaky plastic and headband presses on the top of your head too tightly.
The SHP3000s are much better buys.
How do these compare to Beats headphones?
These are honestly terrible. If you want to buy from this series, but the SHL3300 at LEAST. But they're quite expensive, but go on sale once in awhile. Definitely worth $12.88, but if you're looking for quality. Just don't do it.
Picked up a pair of black ones from my local OW. These sound better than the earbuds that came with my Samsung GS2 from 3 years ago ($0) and my Plantronics Backbeat Go 1s($49), but not as good as my Logitech UE200s ($10.broken now due to stupidity on my part), or my Plantronics gaming headset ($29).
L/R balance seems off, and noticeable clipping of bass and treble when pushed mildly.
Dialog is pretty crisp and has good separation, so for my usage of mainly Anime and YouTube vlogs, it's perfect.
It also has the shortest cord out of all, and there is no L R indication other than a braille embossing. Comfort is not it's strong point.
Pretty good value for ~$13 but definitely 'DJ style' headphones in the same way that Jalna Greek 'style' yoghurt is kind of Greek yoghurt (it's not).L & R indication is on the inside of the headband.
Picked up a pair for transit/flight use. Sound seems okay to me (for what I want it to do) for $13.
Regarding the SHL3300 headphones, the last deal I saw was $229 in the Target Toy Sale. With this price you get a bonus 16GB 5th Gen iPod touch. :D
black ones all gone in the shop in brisbane city :( got a white one, the sound better than what i expected for a $13 headphone :)
had these before… I'd advise anyone against these cans, after about 20mins use, your head will hurt!!..would not take it even if it was given for free..no deal.. BTW, this was $10.49 from Dicksmith 1 year ago..
