Second link: 404: Page Not Found

      • The only one free on the first link is "The Stone Prisoner", which is also the only DLC I got free as part of super expensive Collectors Edition :(

      • Thanks AdrianR….

        I got the lot!

First link gives Stone Prisoner, and whilst your 2nd link in first post didnt work, the updated link you provided does, and unlocks everything you said it would.

        Thanks for sharing :).

I didn't find it generic. In fact it was my favourite RPG of the last generation.

It's more similar to a CRPG like a 3d Baldurs Gate rather than an open world Skyrim type of game. I found the focused story, meaningful choices, and strategic combat system very rewarding compared to Skyrim and its fetch quests.

Generic RPG's do not have meaningful choices and a good story…..

      • Damnit man! Where was this opinion before I bought Skyrim :( All I wanted in a RPG is Baldur's Gate

        • +7

If that's all you wanted, then may I suggest this :)

… Seriously, it sounds like you might enjoy Divinity: Original Sin - a recent release, but with 90s-RPG sensibilities. Check out a few reviews - they're mostly positive.

        • @SuperMatty: I have BG 1 + 2 Enhanced already, just added Divinity OS to my wishlist, gotta wait for it to be on sale :)

        • @CyberGenesys: Yup, also waiting for Divinity OS to go on sale (also need to find 3 friends!)

        • +1

@Eivad: I would settle for just one friend :'(
          (jk)

        • @CyberGenesys:

Original Sin can be picked up through trading in steam forums for around 21 bucks after buying tf2 keys to trade. I liked it up until about 20 hours in (don't choose a rogue build way underpowered for the start area)

      • Comparing it to Baldur's Gate is just insulting :u

  • Had a feeling they'd do it this month. Great advertising for Inquisition.

Still best rpg of the decade, no other ones match its quality

  • I really hope that they make a C&C game free on Origin at some point… C&C3 with Kane's Wrath was great fun!

    • RA1 and Tiberian Sun (with Firestorm) are already free, would provide links but am at work.

      • That's OK. I've played RA1 to death and have the free copy of TS with Firestorm.

I was mainly thinking of C&C3 with KW… though, if they made C&C4 free, I wouldn't hold back. It's not an RTS but I've heard that if you don't expect it to be, it can be quite fun.

    • They are part of the Anniversary edition for the whole pack

And as advised the early early ones are already free online as F2P games

    • Keep an eye out, I bought the C&C ultimate collection (17 games) for $9.99 a while back. At the moment it is $19.99 on Amazon

  • +3

Love the game, spend god-know-how-many hours to play around with it

  • does this mean you can play it for free for just a few days or also AFTER the 15th if you get the game before that date?

    • +2

Once you've added it to your account, it's yours permanently.

  • Awww…and I just bought the Ultimate Edition off Steam just a week ago. Oh well.

  • Thanks mate. To be honest, I almost purchased it last week from Steam for $8.00. Nice catch.

  • Currently getting an error, must be overloaded or something.

  • BioWare’s deepest universe to date with over 80 hours of gameplay and more than double the size and scope of Mass Effect

Why is it being compared to Mass Effect, they're two completely different games…

Excellent game btw, craps all over the 2nd, the choices doesn't make as much of difference as the hype's made out to be. I'm not a hardcore RPG fan but had a ball with this one.

Let's hope Inquisition has something decent to offer.

A great game, but definitely not for the casual audience. You need preparation and patience because almost every fight can be fatal.

    • Also I recall there were some pretty graphic sex scenes that can be triggerred, with any member of your extended party

      • Wasn't that Witcher 2?

        • +2

I wouldn't call The Witcher's sex scenes graphic or obscene. Not for little ones but you'd see worse on SBS.

      • +2

It's all underpants on unless you install mods.

  • can't download:

    Hang on a second.
There was an issue that kept us from completing your request. No need to panic, just give it another try later.

    • same… hmmm

  • Thank you based Origin was about to buy this game a week ago when it was on sale :P

  • Make sure you get some graphic mods. This game looks dated.

    • +1

2009 is hardly dated! You're making me feel old

      • It looked dated when I played it in 2009. The game was in development so long that its engine just looked old, compared to other things releasing at the time.

    • They do add a bit of spit and polish to the game, would definitely recommend it. Not that vanilla isn't okay as it is.

  • +1

Ah thanks OP. I'm looking forward to playing this game. Just need to free up a little bit more disk space - yiiikes !! ;)

  • Awesome, freebies!!! Thanks OP

  • It's all about the DLC these days
