    I bought this set on a markdown table last month for slightly more than this price.

    Yes, they require power which I found a bit tricky as I want them for outdoor surveillance. Making the internet / mobile surveillance work requires the tablet to be connected to a Windows computer running some Uniden software. Not as seamless as the D-link type cameras.

    Resolution could be better but I can't fault it at this price.

    It's wireless so the only installation is screwing the holders for the cameras.

      320x240 res if all 4 cameras are recorded or 640x480 for a single camera….. that res is just pathetic x.x

  How much would it cost to install? I imagine you would need a professional to come out.

  What I'm worried about is someone would just steal the hard drive that it records to.

    don't bother - res is too low to be useful for identifying anything

    it is wireless system, no video/audio cable. so maybe we don't need someone who have cable licence to do the installation. not 100% sure

        5 ac adaptor, every camera should have one ac adapter. I think no need the professional for putting ac adapter into power socket.
