    I've actually had very good experiences with Groupon.. their customer service is very responsive and they generally keep you updated with their progress when you have issues. Unless you're saying that this deal from groupon has stricter fare rules than those from Thai airways?

      Thai fare rules are far better:
      Change Reservation
      Reservations may be altered at any time prior departure by reissue or revalidation within the ticket validity and same booking class at a charge of AUD200 per change transaction.

      Refunds/ Cancellations
      Totally unused ticket: AUD250 adult, AUD200 child, AUD90 infant.

    It's actually cheaper directly from Thai Airways website. I checked SYD-BKK-LHR/CDG-BKK-SYD for November this year and it was showing $1434.64.

  I recently got $1500 return to France with Korean Air using travel.com.au. I called Korean Air and organised free layover also since I specifically booked a flight when had an overnight stay in Seoul to break up the flight over.

  I booked a bit differently in that I paid $290 for Jetstar flights to HCMC (flights were on sale from Jetstar website), then from there bought flights flying Qatar Airways to Frankfurt and return to Melbourne for $1050. It won't be everyone's choice to fly Jetstar to Asia (being a LCC) but for overall price and flying with Qatar which is is consistently ranked 1-2nd on Skytrax awards is a good deal in my eyes.
