  • Only VIC???

  • Since when is a block of coke normally $22? I swear it's usually $14-15…

    • It's priced at $21.69 at my local Coles.

Damn i thought it was on today , guess i'll have to go back tomorrow

    • +1

Tantryl - 24 cans of coke would retail for $14-15 back in the late 1980s perhaps

  • Damm where is it in NSW?

  • what does the small print at the bottom say?

    • +1

      Fine print =

Advertised price applies 7am Friday 4th september 2009 at Victorian stores only.
Advertised price is not available at Coles express,Coles Central and coles.com.au.

      Hope that helps….

    • woolies have buy 18 and get 12 free

      • still not as cheap and your 12 free aren't coke/diet.

  • only vic?? aww boo

    • Excellente! : Vic
      No Beuno! : NSW et.al.

      :(

  • So this is confirmed for all coles in Vic? I now know where I am going after work!!!

    • starts at 7am i would try and go befor work i think it will sell out fast.
But it does not say "No rain checks" on the flyer…

      • I start at 3AM ;-)

Possibly a bit too early.. but i'd get there around 11am…

  • +2

You can add in WA to this deal, we have the same thing on this Friday 7am.

  • Same with SA but $11.

    • Why SA pay more than other states?

      • +1

because SA has a 10c a can refund - so logically somebody has to pay for that.

  • Does it apply to Diet Coke cans in WA? If so gets out $50 note

    • yes i say it would as it says Coca-Cola Soft Drink Varieties 24x375ml

    • I think it does mate I was just at my local Coles in Melbourne and wondered why they have about 6 pallets of coke 24 can packs all still shrink wrapped out the front, now I know it's for tomorrow's sale, I seen the normal and diet coke cans variety's they had 3 pallets of each.

      Cheers!

  • qld? anyone confirM?

  • I guess there is no 1 pack per person? :D

  • Great price thanks!!

  • -3

    i'd rather drink acid

    • +1

      How did you know???

    • Coke is acidic (pH of roughly 3), and contains carbonic, citric and phosphoric acid. And I'm sure all the sugar it contains makes it taste much better than your average acid, but hey, different strokes for different folks.

  • Just back from my local store in VIC.
Picked up 5*24 cans. And that's something for a family of 2.
    No restrictions on multi-buys.
All varieties, regular, diet, zero for $10.
They even had a special on 24 cans of Pepsi variety cases for $11 each. But I guess who would buy "The poor Man's Coke" for an extra dollar.
Cheers to the original poster. I owe you a can!!

    • Coles actually had the 24 pack pepsi variety's for only $7.00 last week or the week before during the 3 day sale or something like that…I never bought any though as you can usually get the pepsi 24 packs for around $9.00 at smaller independant supermarkets every now and then, but I definately bought some Coke today from Coles it's a good price for coke!

    • 5*24 cans??? holy cow… lol…
      u need one of these…

  • I bought Coke and Fanta

  • Looked at my local Chatswood, NSW coles and it wasn't on special.

However they had a different manger's special today, massive peters ice cream tubs for $5.

  • Just got some diet coke.. not many left.. ;)

  • They've run out of the regular Coke in quite a few places. Plenty more at Pinewood and Dandenong though.

If you don't like cans, go for the 2 litre bottles of coke/sprite/diet @ woolworths - 4 for $9.00.
Virtually the same price per ml (0.001120 vs 0.001125), just not in cans =)

  • no for qld

  • Plenty of both at Coles in Prahran, VIC when I was there at 1:30 PM. One of their employees clumsily knocked over a big stack of them, so beware the cans might be a bit shaken up if you intend to drink straight away. ;)

  • Confirmed it isn't in NSW?

  • +1

5 cases of Coke Zero yay! They were running around like headless chooks at Coles today, overheard the manager telling the kid to restock-restock-restock but the boxes were stacked up all over the place, lady at the checkout told me I should buy more and the manager was telling people to buy over the PA 4 times in the 10 minutes I was in there… No, one of the announcements was for $1 crumpets - I bought 4 packs.

  • Damn you Victorians, Damn you!!

  • One lady before me bought 20 boxes !?>< . so I only get 1 box of normal coke which hidden in the corner and three boxes of zero coke. When l left coles, only diet coke left.

  • sale was valid at karawarra, perth, wa too.
4 cartons for the work fridge. cheers poster

  • I bought six cartons from Rockingham WA, and I live by myself…should do me a while… :)

    • Damn.. I only got 3 for myself
I wonder what the shelf life of a can of coke is.

      • They do have use by dates printed on the side of the box and on the bottom of the cans. The ones I got are good until July 2010.

        • Mine are July 2010 also, but mine will be long gone by then. I live between coke and V. Mine will be gone before Christmas (easily). Plus anyone who comes over ends up having a can of coke as well.

  • I only got 2 cartons but i heard 1 of the staff say they sold out twice and when i went there at 11pm they were still restocking. I also got 6 cartons of Pepsi/Schweppes since I raincheck it a week ago

  • best deal in a long time…not seen these prices in ages.

    tops stuff!

  • Unfortunately not in NSW, but while in coles I noticed them selling 4 2L bottles of different varieties of coke for $9, which is $1.125 p/L.

    • Yes, thats advertised nationally in the catalogue until next thursday

  • got 2 slabs myself. the one deal better than this was 30 cans for $9.00 when a new woolworths opened near me.
