    My TCL 65" has been fantastic. They make their own panels and are a cut above the kogans etc, obviously no Samsung/pana/sony/lg but honestly not that far behind.

    I don't need a 55", was hoping someone would discount the 32-40" models but it never happened.

  I wouldn't suggest anyone buying TCL, seriously, pay the extra coin and get a decent brand, go and look at the TCL facebook page and see all the complaints where TCL have ignored.

    I haven't checked delivery on this deal but even if it is trying to charge you, talk to them, I managed to wipe the delivery costs entirely - was $50.

    Won't know if you don't ask. It's pretty competitive out there right now.

  I've got the 50" version, very good, it's last year (5000 series) samsung internals with a faster epg. if i needed a larger tv this would be what i'd chose. 3 usb's and 3 hdmi's. a no brainer!

    I don't want to sound like a TCL fanboi (coz I'm really not) but TCL wipes the floor with Soniq. Much better.

    I consider it behind the majors (Samsung, Panasonic, Sony, LG) and ahead of the rest.

  Thanks OP. Ordered one. Failed to waive the delivery fee despite calling their 1300 number. However they agreed to knock a few dollars off the price. A dollar is a dollar.

  I was also checking TCL L55E5510FDS on "eBay Big Sunday (28th Sept) - 20% off The Good Guys Store on eBay" https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/162714. But it seem to me, the 3D feature on L55E5510FDS is not worth the extra $100+ even after discount.
