Spend extra and buy the new RGB version since it apparently fixes backlight issues that ALL corsair mech keyboards had. 16 dead LEDs on my K70 and counting…

The RGB version is $220 from pccg. A fair bit more.

    • got my k70 a few months ago. hopefuilly will stay strong
      costed 150$

      im jealous of rgb though

  • Apparently it's the Blue (Silver Brushed) that has LED issues. Mine went back for warranty twice. Finally was replaced with the Red (Black Anodised) since Blue was discontinued.

    • They might be the most prevalent, but I know a couple of people who own the white K95 with dead leds aswell. So this issue has been known for a while and corsair didn't do squat until now.

  • LED issues vary wildly on the K70 depending on which batch of production the units come out of - but if you experience any LED failures, contact us - we're always happy to sort through it :)

    • Good to hear, thanks Roland.

  • For someone who has never used a mechanical keyboard, how do I know which one to choose? I wouldn't be able to swap if I don't like how stiff the brown keyboard is right?
