I am fairly sure RoTT has never been so cheap.

Another game on sale today that I would recommend is Blade of Darkness, for $1.89 AU.

    Wow, abandonware already?

I think you may be about 5 years behind on what GoG is - it is large enough now that MANY games are available on GoG DRM free from pre-release, including the Witcher series and Divinity series of late, as well as, of course, a large number of indy titles - all without DRM.

What is it with people and calling GOG a repository for "abandonware"?

Whether or not the games are old enough to be in a state of legal limbo, many of them are actually incredibly hard to find copies of (legal or illegal - yes even on TPB) and secondly, harder still to get properly running on Windows 7.

GOG.com offer so much more than being some kind of retro-gaming circle jerk.

They're so under-appreciated, but then again, the kind of folks who think a company like Valve is "amazing" for producing Steam, which can revoke your access to your games without warning or explanation at anytime they like and doesn't even allow you the option of refunds or trading anymore; probably like being treated like sniveling thieves.

My GOG games are mine to own forever. The installers are on my PC, they never need to be activated and anything can happen to my GOG account and I'll still be able to play them as much as I like.

I've refunded games more than once without issue and gotten store credit for them; I've never heard of a successful refund attempt on Steam in my life.

Find it hard to believe that Starcraft for $1.59 (Awesome resource management strategy game based on a space station) Redshirt for $2.69 (2013 'social networking' game, apparently i like space stations) and the undeniable classic Leisure Suit Larry Series 1-6 + 1 Remake $3.29 all at 70+% off did not make the list.
