The title does say: "for Windows PC Square Heroes Beta ", which is a fully functional version of the game. Fair enough though I guess.

well I like the game and I am happy to support a local(Australian, western Australia) game.

Not sure - Steam haven't Greenlit any for a month now and there are probably a quite a few in queue before us.. We were gunning for end of October - even if not on Steam by then will be available on other channels then, e.g. Desura.
Probably $15 but I am sure a bargain will pop up here and there :D
the free download is for the beta.. without a steam key this is not a free game offer, so I'm downvoting for false advertising
