Brilliant - there wasn't short expiry on these or anything like that was there? Hoping the local one has it for the same price :)

  • AWESOME!

    My wife loves this drink,

I like it too because it's not too sweet

    Bought 10. Love it :3

Out of interest, what does it taste like? I had the nudie coconut water once and it was very average.

      • +3

Tastes like coconut water. Drink too much and you have yourself a laxative

      • Have you ever had a young coconut? I tastes … fresh. It doesn't really have the same taste as the flesh of a mature coconut (the more fibrous hard white stuff). I didn't realise there was such a difference in taste between a young and mature coconut until this year. I much prefer the former!

        • +3

So you prefer the young ones….
Well me, I prefer a MILD - Mature (coconut) I'd Like to ….. Drink

          :)

Good price for coconut water. $6/L is just crazy.

When I'm in a coconut juice mood, I usually buy a 24 can slab of Thai coconut water cans that work out around $3/L or less (I've never bought from that linked store, tis just an example). I had trouble with maintaining my electrolytes a few years ago too, so I lived off the stuff lol. Just gotta make sure it's not a coconut juice containing added sugars.

Or just carry around fresh young coconuts like I used to, as well. lol

Wow, when did you grow arms, turnip?

      • +2

They're actually just funny looking parsnips I had grafted on to look like arms.

    • Not so sure what I just read, but power to you! :)

  • I remember when these were given out on the streets for free a few years ago.

    • They got us all addicted and been laughing ever since.

  • +2

Don't know why. The taste is far from fresh coconut water.

  • My local one doesn't stock it! Crap, after I made a special trip there for this juice!

  • +1

My local ripped me off at $3.05! I failed to be true ozbargainer :(
    I paid 5 cents more!

    • +2

      It costs $3.05 in Bris.

  • This is good to drink as is or for making smoothies (instead of using water).

    • Both!

  • I like Cocobella coconut juice, some of the others are made from concentrates and have added sugar.

OP, please add to title (PM Dan Murphy $2.50)

  • Kinda miss being in Sourh east Asia. Fresh coconuts go for something like 50 cents for one over there

  • Priced way beyond budget, but I claw back some ground taking a generic tab of berocca.

  • I Cleared the whole shelf today, bought 9 of them - should last at least 3 weeks! :)
