Can someone tell me if I want to buy the LightSquared kit or not?
Thanks, I'm having more and more trouble making Ozbargain decisions lately - I almost didn't buy the 10 pack of LED keyrings last week.

      LOL
Im wondering the same thing.. WTF is it… do I need it… do I want it… what will I do with it ?

  • What is 3D LightSquared? I see it makes pretty patterns out of LEDs… but can't find much info on it. Google is letting me down…

You need an Adruino or Raspberry PI or similar device to control this LED cube.

      • Nope, cones with a pre flashed micro already. Not clear though if it's possible to communicate to that micro to control the cube

  • Is the clear case included with the 3D LightSquared?

    7 Understandthe welding method,you can startwelding….

    I don't , but I want one, I think……..

  • @ICStation I ordered the 3D LightSquared kit from you and it just arrived, but it does not have a plastic shell. The image you linked to, with your website on it, clearly shows a plastic case surrounding the LEDs. How come this was not included in the kit?

If I wanted to order one without the shell, I could have ordered it cheaper from eBay:
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/3D-LED-LightSquared-4x4x4-2-5-7MM…
this listing states it does NOT include a shell, that's why it's cheaper.

Thank you for your info and report!

We're so sorry that we had not specified the info that this kit does not have the plastic shell on our product page. Sorry for the trouble caused.
For the price of eBay, it's just bid price, not the selling price which is USD10.02.

For the plastic shell, if you'd like to have one, we can offer you our best price of USD8.59 with free shipping fee.

      Thanks again for your understanding!

    • Is the actual kit any good? Thinking of getting the red/blue one at http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/3D-LED-LightSquared-4x4x4-2-5-7MM… which looks pretty awesome.

      • You could watch the video regarding the 3D LightSquared kit series which made by our customer at http://youtu.be/hkM7ElUtvgM. Thanks!
