      if you want to compare the product please be more realistic. that price in USD at $233 AUD not including shipping, not including DVD burner speaker keyboard mouse and 1 Year warranty pick up and return, less HDD, less memory. oh forgot to mention windows xp home cheapest roughly around $99

        Oops - I got my websites mixed up and didn't realise I linked to a US example. Sorry.
        That makes the Acer look much better, except I don't consider XP a bonus.
        Still, mini-PCs are amazingly cheap now!

    Worth considering the Eee Box instead which is similar in price and specs (main difference being the optical drive) but packs it into a much smaller space, as well as using a mobile chipset so it's quieter and more power efficient.

      You're looking at around 16W idle / 22W load for the Eee Box vs 27W idle / 33W load for a 945GC chipset based Atom system like this Acer. See the silentpcreview.com reviews for details.
