  • Hi Rep,
When will these be roasted and how long do you think they would be ok for in an air tight container? Really want to give them a try but pretty sure I will not get through close to 2kg in a month.
    Cheers

    • The coffee is fresh roasted to order so am going to roast tomorrow. After roasting it generally needs at least 4 days to degas and allow flavours to develop fully. It is at it's freshest for the first few weeks and then the unique flavours will start to drop off until you're left with pretty much the quality you would find on the shelves at the supermarket.

You could try freezing unopened bags or better still share with family or friends :-)

  • No pour over :(

    • +2

There is a pour over option on this current deal. Link below

      • Tried to hit like twice! Thanks I'm going to order… now to find some friends who want some beans ;)

  • will there be a gesha batch anytime soon :D?

    • We have about 8 geishas in stock but they cost us over $100 per kg as green bean and also you lose 15-25% through the roast process. Unfortunately if we posted a deal on Ozbargains we might attract a few haters at the price point we would have to offer.

Also only really suitable for light roast as a black filter coffee for those that know their coffees

Currently available on our website though

  • Hey Rep,
Can you still bundle an aeropress with these orders? If so, how much would that cost?
    Cheers.

    • +1

No problem, Aeropress $39.95 + Free shipping when added to these deals :-)

      • It's coming up as $49.00 for me, do I need to do something special?
        Cheers.

  • What do you recommend for someone who does mostly pour over, but also some plunger? Any way this deal can be ground to those consistencies? Thanks OP!

    • Pour over Heaven deal we have running should be perfect

Unfortunately unable to offer a grinding service on these deals at present. Grinding service is offered through our standard website listings.

If you're planning to buy fresh roasted coffee on a regular basis it would be a great idea to pick up a basic grinder as it will keep you're coffee fresher for longer if you buy beans and grind as you go :-)

      • Thanks for this information. I prefer a dark roast (medium would suffice) however. :(

        • Perhaps stick to this deal then, these will be medium roast

    Thanks OP,
I ran out of beans on the weekend and had been wanting to try some of your selections for a while now. I look forward tasting them.

    • Thanks Michael welcome aboard, hope you enjoy!

  • Hi again Manna - can you advise on suitability for an espresso fan please?
    thanks

    • Hi Dale, we have some new Kenyans and Ethiopians on our site which are fantastic as pour over and espresso. Slightly darker roast more suitable for espresso and can be specified in notes on checkout. For website sales we can do individual small batch roasts to suit your preferences.

Otherwise these coffees are all great coffees and will be roasted as medium/medium dark. They should still perform well as espresso.

  • that's great - thanks for the info. I'll try these ones then! ;)

  • Looking for a deal with aeropress + suitable hand grinder. No need for postage as I will pick up.

Also, what does "good acidity" mean? It is used in a couple of the descriptions on your website. I recently had the Kenya Asali and found it's high acidity not to my tastes.

  • Hi rep I have a sunbeam cafe series e7000 cafe series machine and sunbeam EM0700 Precision Grinder what beans would you recommend. I normally buy coffee trails house blend beans.

    • Hi Corksta, It depends how you drink your coffee ie long black, espresso or milk based. These are all great as milk based coffees and provide a bit of variety.

For a good all round coffee you could always start on one of our blends like Jamocha!

  • Hello Rep, if I order on Wednesday 3 September in the morning, is there any chance these will get posted on Wednesday - Thursday for Sydney CBD delivery by this Friday? Thank you
