  • So only one new free game for Xbox One; they are keeping Crimson Dragon for another month :| Why the "kind of free" in the title GreenLego?

People complained last time (Aug2014) and said that Xbox One games aren't permanently kept and it wasn't technically free because of the requirement for on-going subscription.

Yeah, caused by people complaining in the past that PS Plus wasn't technically free because of the requirement for on-going subscription.

  • If my sub runs out I lose access to these games? I bought a 3 month sub 2 months ago to get these free gold games but didn't realise I will lose them.. is this true?

    • You only lose access to them whilst your subscription is out. Once you renew they will all still be there.

Only for the Xbox One games. You won't be able to play the Xbox One games you got for free unless you have a valid Gold subscription. If you let the subscription lapse, you won't be able to play the free games. If you renew the subscription after the lapse, you will be able to play the games again.

For Xbox 360, you keep the games and able to play them even after the subscription lapses. You only need the valid subscription at the moment of your 'purchase'.

    • Why is it so difficult for people to understand?

      • I'm new to the whole xbox live thing, sorry if I don't have an elitist status.

  • As a reminder Dishonoured is still available for this month.

    Cheers for the post

Looking forward to next months releases. For the first time since this promotion both the titles are ones I dont already own and will likely play.

I've decided there's no real point buying any arcade games for Xbox One (not what they're technically called but you get what I mean re 360 games). They'll likely become free sooner or later.

MONACO!! What a great game to play with others so you have an excuse to yell at them!
