I think it's a good price for AU stock. Not a bad drive either. Good reviews all around. I like the fact that it comes with a 5 year warranty.

Great price. Intel makes the most reliable SSD's by far.

If you've been holding off buying ssd's because of reliability concerns, get the Intel for it's lengthy warranty.

  • I've had one of these being hammered as the OS drive and build drive in my main development PC for 6 months now; has never skipped a beat. FYI I shelled out the $20 or $30 for 'Paragon Migrate OS to SSD' program, it made transferring my OS and tools to the new SSD a doddle.

One small caveat - doing it this way required some fiddling (on Windows 7) to, as I recall, remove an existing SATA driver and re-install some generic driver. Before this the Intel SSD Toolkit didn't recognise the SSD properly, and the trim / optimizer process therefore wouldn't run.

  • Only 1 per customer or…?

  • Glad I bought the SanDisk Extreme II 240GB @ $129 delivered :)))

  • Sadly, the price is now $180. I wonder how much stock they had to begin with?
