I know, expensive water, but most people seem to buy this for the bottle. Enjoy!
Could possibly combine this with the free delivery deal ending tomorrow.

Never ceases to amaze the OzBargain community.
Only good if it's the glass bottle version. That's the only reason people get this water. I have a bottle and it's actually really useful.
the biggest pet peeve is the glass is nice, but it has a plastic lid which ruins the whole feel of the thing
how else could they seal it though?
I dunno, coke figured it out in the 50s though. Glass bottle with metals lids.
@Expon: May be Hugo BOSS water will come with nice metal lid, but it will cost $39 per bottle :(
@edfoo: They are plastic because metal lids might rust over time. Even the most expensive bottle of perfume rarely have metal lids (if any)
Aluminum doesn't rust. Heck beer bottles have aluminum lids and they don't rust or corrode.
Stainless steel rusts now?
@Expon:
Did it have a thin layer of rubbery material to make an air tight seal?? If so.. wonder what that is made of …
@Diji1: That 800ml of precious liquid already costs a fortune, imagine the cost of the bottle if moulded SS was used to make the caps!
yep, the grey plastic is really cheap looking.
My wife uses the bottles as vases so she doesn't need the lid
Do you think it would be better if it had an aluminum lid?.
they could use metal(out)/plastic(in) lids like the last sodastream bottles.
P.s I don't mind the plastic lid at all.
Did you mean white collar people?
Yes I am guilty of getting these for the bottle…..
In 2007, Women's Health magazine rated Voss first among several bottled water.[1] However, in tests sponsored by Finland's national broadcasting company, YLE, three blindfolded wine experts rated Voss water lowest of the six waters tested, which included Helsinki public tap water.[2]
In October 2010, Norway's TV 2 reported that Voss has the same source as tap water from the municipal water supply in Iveland and, contrary to Voss marketing,[3] that this is not artesian.[4][5][6] TV 2 continued to maintain these claims despite Voss objections.[7]

To be fair, Norway's tap water is pretty nice…
does anyone say "I get these for the water" ?
I live in Vaucluse and I ONLY drink Voss.
And I throw away the disposable glass bottles on the public foot path as befitting its lowly status. Life is too short to look for rubbish bins.
You use public footpaths? How common.
LOL
so for you to get your 2 litres of recommended water intake a day, using this deal you would pay $9.75 per day to drink water. That is $68.25 per week or $3,549 a year. If you do this for 80 years, you spend $283,920 on water.
you spend $283,920 on water
Still chump change for these guys…
Ps. You may want to dump in some CPI into the equation for additional wtf value.
Yeah it's not like middle income earners are buying it right :p
The sparkling kind is available for pick up for the same price
Might pick some up tonight… but will need to pour that water out of it… can't stand the sparkling water. Tried it once, it was horrible, even homebrand ones are better.
$3.90 for 800 Ml of H20, that's like saying I think ticketmaster prices and booking charges are fair and reasonable.
Lets add cinema popcorn prices to that list too.
$4.50 Child ticket to the Port v Carlton Adelaide Oval General Admin
$5.50 Booking fee
10% Credit card fee
An item where the container is worth more than the contents. I am yet to be convinced by bottled water.
There's a lot of things like this. Perfume, makeup for example you'll find convoluted bottles to differentiate each other. The fact people are willing to pay for something they can get for about 5 cents or free at your local drinking fountain says plenty.
that's an expensive bottle never mind the tap water inside it.
It really is water for w*nkers…
Why would winkers want water?
For lubrication.
It'd be pretty painful to w*nk otherwise.
Now if there was only a Cheap Bear Deal to wash this stuff down with, id be as happy as tap water in a glass bottle.
You eat bears?
Better than this guy.
I think the bear ate the link…
@Knightelf: ProjectZero neglected the http(s). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xtxHoneTJfo
@Lukian: LOL thanks… i didn't realise
@Knightelf:
A bear ate his clothes.
You can get voss at some woolworths - or at least, the sparkling voss
And it is basically the same price.
Use to be both but only Sparkly now
Woolworths in Docklands Vic has this but it's $8, so not the same price.
$4.83 @ Woolworths online store
I've noticed that the online stores (WW and Coles) gets their prices marked up unless it's on promotion. So i wouldn't base it on that either.
plus delivery
Hah, I got to woolworths in a pretty scummy suburb, so perhaps that may explain it.
LordRichington shops in a scummy suburb??? Has the world gone topsy turvy?!
Vosssuuppppp
Thanks OP, got 50. I buy these for the water because they're sustainable source, bottle goes to recycling bin because I care for the environment.
What about all the non-renewable energy expended on manufacture and transport? IMO anyone that really cares for the environment doesn't drink bottled water in the first place.
yes, yes, yes - one does not bother ones head with such things in Vaucluse. Tap water really upsets my spoodles stomach.
I don't
I pack my old Voss glass bottles carefully in boxes with lots of packing peanuts so they don't get broken on the way to the recycler!
If you are serious about the environment you would be reusing these bottles and not recycling them. Glass is essentially made from sand which is an abundant resource and extremely cheap. So the benefit of recycling glass is not one of saving limited resources like in the case of recycling aluminium. Essentially it comes down to an argument of energy use required to produce virgin glass compared to processing cullet glass. When looking at the life cycle of the glass products there might not be much benefit to recycling glass if any at all.
how about the solar panel going into land fill? no one recycle it
LEL nice trolling…
You are trolling right :)
It's off topic but for the environment, people should do more research
people who support solar panel power should do more research on how toxic is the panel.
Does the industry recycle the panel ? (10 years ago, efficiency is 8%, 5 years ago 12%, latest technology 18-23%) will be recycle old panel? )
In the renewable energy forum, I asked the question, cheaper to build new one or recycle, everyone answered me build new one is cheaper and more efficient due to better technology.
Conclusion, solar panel good for financial purpose, environment? short term yes, not for long term, new generation would have to deal with the land fill we caused. Big scale solar farm can help to "cook" birds too…..
wind energy - is it mature enough? the additional temperature rise caused by the massive wind farm might cause problem to the nature too? more research required.
Care to point us to some of these "research"?
Big scale solar farm can help to "cook" birds too
the additional temperature rise caused by the massive wind farm
How do these work?

Google it? More example
Can't get free delivery with this? Comes up as $7.00
Did you apply the promotional voucher code that's in the description?.
You have to follow the prompts to the end.
Ahh it works at the end, thanks!
Would have loved to get a few bottles to use as a vase, however the "VOSS" etched over the the entire bottle length is kinda "trying to hard". i cringe when i pay over $1.50 for fossil fuel, so at $3.80 for 800ml for water is like paying for Ice in Antartica.
This is a bargain, compare to 750ml PUMP at cinema, for $5.
Pity the cinemas don't let you take your own drinks in with you?.
That's where you need a jacket with lots of pockets inside.
I've smuggled a Zinger burger meal into the cinemas before, felt like a bawss eating it lol. It tastes even better when you know you're doing it illegally haha
What they don't know won't hurt them…
I'm pretty sure the official rules in cinemas is that you are not allowed any hot food with you, otherwise anything else is ok, and why the food places only sell cold stuff. so this technically means popcorn isn't allowed either though.
@tomwhiteallnight: Yes, I got kicked out of Hoyts MC for having a Grilled burger. No refund.
@Bargain4U: Just to one up that, I got a pizza through once in a back pack. Movie was average but the experience was great!
They do at 100% of the ones i go to in Melbourne
You mean you don't buy frozen coke from a Maccas/HJ's outside cinemas and put it in a clear/generic cup so the cinema can't tell if it's their own or not?
Why would you want a glass water bottle anyway?
Not being sarcastic / negative… Genuine question.
Glass water bottle keep freshness longer.
It looks cool.
Reusing glass bottles, IMO, is better then reusing plastic bottles regardless of the grade of the plastic itself.
And today we know about BPA and plastic leaching into the water.
Who knows what else they will find in the future.
above reasons plus I like the way it doesn't crinkle when you grab it or drink from it.
Glass last longer than those plastic bottles.
You live in Vaucluse.
Thanks bought 2 bottles to see what the fuss was about:)
anyone know if they delivery to parcel locker?
what the (profanity) has ozbargains done to me?! I'm buying (profanity) bottled water for (profanity) sake.
can't get free shipping? edit: nevermind gets applied at the end
Thanks. Ordered. Never thought I would walk into a liquor store and walk out with a bottle of water lol.
Delivery option seems to be disabled..
