While I remember COTD and Dick Smith had 32" LCD TV for $499 plus delivery, however I believe the offer has all expired or waiting for it to be delivery (yes, Dick Smith, I am still waiting for the 32" LCD TV that I ordered 2 month ago!) I think this is a good deal regardless.

Note that this is not full-HD (i.e. 1920x1080), so while it is 1080p compatible, it cannot display 1080p in full-HD.
