Eljo have launched a sale for Dvico Personal Video Recorders (PVRs) including 1TB Hard Drive & Dual Tuner.

1TB Dvico 3330 - $419 (normally $528)
- 1080i High Definition
- Time Shift for pause/rewind/fastforward LiveTV
- AV input to record from external source like Foxtel, Camcorder, DVD player, etc

1TB Dvico 6500A - $619 (normally $708)
- 1080p High Definition
- MKV and other additional HD file support

Both Record in High Definition straight from LiveTV.

Sale ends Midnight Tuesday (August 25th)

  These are bargain prices,
  Normally a 1TB 3330 would be $528 and a 1TB 6500A would be $708.

    Without a hard disk, there are four retailers selling the 6500A for less than $500. Given 1TB drives retail for around $100, I don't think the price on that item is a bargain.

    Price on the other is a little better, but if you're in Queensland you can buy the 3330 for $295 from here (http://www.computeralliance.com.au/partsText.aspx) and pay $100 for a hard drive.

    Of course, some people may be willing to pay more for it to be preinstalled. (But those people probably end up with a TIVO!)

  I would be interested to know if these other retailers sell them with or without a tuner, and indeed if with, is it the T441 dual tuner? The Computer Alliance link provided does not indicate that there is any tuner provided at $295, all that is shown is that they sell it seperately, so it would be reasonable to assume this is without a tuner.

  This is a sale on our regular prices. To most people, considering the RRP on these items (3330 w no HDD - $400+ and 6500 w no HDD - $600+), i would think these prices are pretty much the cheapest around.

  If you do believe you have found cheaper on the same item, we do of course price match the Dvico range of PVRs.
