  That resolution is pretty low but can't complain cos you know…. Ipad 2 is that low and apple is the standard for tablets! ( sarcasm) for a cheap 3g tablet it seems okay, anyone got any first hand experience?

    it's not just the low resolution, low res screens are cheaper for other possible reasons too like washed out colours, poor viewing angles, low brightness etc if you're going to stare at the lcd for long periods of time get the best you can afford

  i was unimpressed with the screen on the nexus 7 2012. probly shouldn't go for this then i guess.

  That processor, you're going to be lamenting how slow it is pretty quickly, if you're used to current generation phones that use quad core chips. Get the nexus 7 instead, you won't regret it.

  Just a quick note, got one (and will return it soon), overall decent for the price I guess but the screen is the main let down, dim, washed out, super reflective and terrible viewing angles, android seems smooth enough, also supports USB OTG if that is something of interest, also has the 'phone' version of android so the dialer is there to make phone calls and make sms

  Wifi only does 20Mbit, Vodafone 3G does 2mbit

  Is Telstra band. Voda and Optus use 900/2100 so will probably be slower or not get 3G coverage at all in some metro suburbs and outside the metro area.
