Seems to be a good price @ clearance for a UHD of this size.
Is this a normal price for uhd now?
Sorry don't know how to upload picture.

It might be this model:

Not a bad price (even though I would prefer and instabuy if it were the curved model).
UHD is a waste of money at this stage. Wont look any better than a Full HD TV when showing 1080p content. No 4k content available unless you buy Sony's $700 media player then download movies from their video service at a cost of roughly $30/movie plus 40 or so gb out of your download cap. Only reason to buy one is to impress your neighbour.

I believe your theory is correct.
My neighbour still has a 34cm CRT and STB. He thinks my 48cm CRT and PVR is amazeballs.
YOLO
I wouldn't generalize that it's a waste of money. Some of us need even higher resolution large screens to display professional photos. It is not just bat movies
Or dinosaur movies hey Godzill A
Don't we all love giant predators!
If this model is the ua55hu7000 then you actually can get it for under $2K apparently on their website.
Any chance the in store price is just a tad higher for the same thing?
Good deal if its the hu8500.
Post in the forum if you are not sure if this is a bargain.
Cheaper at hn
