Anyone know of any car battery deals? Dont need anything special, for an old 4cly 93 magna. Currently running on the battery i took out of our 4x4 (that couldn't even turn the 4x4 over a year ago).

  • is this Australia wide?

How much do they sell the iridium spark plugs for? SCA sells these for $23 each (when not on special)… 30% will be good for these…

I used to buy my plugs from rockauto in the us. Depends on the type. A set for our 380 was going to be $170 here. Better set NGK laser irridium was $60 delivered. They have got cheaper locally of late now platinum plugs are the norm.

Umm… Just checked Rockauto… the same spark plug (4 pc set) is approx $50 delivered. At Repco 30% off it's going to be $64 (assuming their retail price is the same as that of SCA). Rockauto has 2 week delivery time, but this is acceptable for regular maintenance items, i guess.

Yeah I guess you'll have to work it out and if you are working on it right now, might be worth getting the plugs earlier. Be careful repco's list price is sometimes dearer than supercheap. Supercheap has come good on plugs of late. I got some NGK irridium for our 4 cylinder car for $12 each, I was just lucky that particular type was cheap and I only needed 4 of them. It wasnt worth the bother importing them for that.

For a 8cyl of 6cyl car its obviously better value to import them. Unless you have another car that will be due soon and you can buy a couple of sets at a time.

Im no rocket scientist, But Sounds like you can get them for $14 less if you can wait 2 weeks.
