Nokia lumia 930 windows phone Orange Pre Order $5
Releases late August.
Clearly a price mistake and only orange will show up in cart for $5. I have purchased one and was charged $5 on account.
Lets see how long it lasts

Was there a minimum spend on the $5 off, it's been quite a while since I bought anything from HN

What will probably happen is people will slowly get a refund, as with "Tablet Headache":
Harvey Norman chief Gerry Harvey said a mistake occurred when uploading the sale price of an Asus tablet, which retails for about $800.
It was supposed to be discounted to about $600 but instead was listed as $122, the amount of the discount.
"It went up as a mistake around midnight and by 4am our people were alerted to it," Mr Harvey said.
But not before about 300 people snapped up 1600 of the bargain tablets, according to Mr Harvey, who said it was the work of professionals, not everyday consumers.
"It was obviously a mistake and they knew it," he said.
it's only $5 but had to take the chance at this though
At worst you'll waste some of Gerry's time.

There must be a reason for specifying a limit of 3 per customer when there is no limit placed on the other colours.
I'm quite new to these cases.. What happens if they admit its a pricing error?
they have the right to cancel the order, but sometimes the seller will let it slip since it's part automated.
HN always makes fake deal to attract customers' attention.
It's better than paying for google's ad.

I've bought one too. With delivery, it came to $10.95.
thats weird for me delivery alone was $10.95 then 5 dollars for the phone

Think of it this way i just saved that $5 being wasted on something else from ozbargain for the time being.

Except that I didn't make the offer, HN did, I merely accepted THEIR offer. Not going to start a legal challenge for the sake of 10 bux though.. :)
I think your order is legally an offer. Their advertisement is an "offer to treat (negotiate)".
They have a surprisingly good mobile website.

Im actually thinking that they maybe did it intentionally. They got free publicity last time. They may want to draw attention to the non-pricing error price of their Lumia 930s.
It is a good price though. ~$100 cheaper than any other Aussie stock.

isnt the folk lore relating to shopping that its technically you who offered the price?
supposedly it goes way back that the original street venders that would haggle with you on the price you verbally offered until agreement, hence they can reject the sale for any reason.

in more recent times shops just displayed the price to save wasted time haggling as the population explosion continued haggling with a 17yo shop assistant would be terrifying, on every item of every sale for every shopper. imagine woolies checkout cues in that case
that is why you will find you can still haggle on most prices at most shops (especially at harvey norman strangely) the obvious exceptions being most franchises and apple items.
