    What is the normal price?

Perfect! Lost the earbuds for my CX685s and needed replacement earphones or earbuds. Got the white ones, not worth paying double for black ones which take serious abuse anyway.

    Thanks OP!

    Great find. Thanks

  • review so so people say it hurts your ears

  • Will this work with SG S2?

    • +2

I read volume isn't working for android.

      EDIT

      • Lol, yeah that was a little too harsh. Good choice removing the comment.

  • Great headphones! I'm currently using the pmx680 and they have been awesome. One thing about the one I have is that sometimes sweat can block one or both sides and it's hard to hear the music. Can't say this happens with this model but for $15 I would certainly recommend these.

  • Hmmm decision.. this $15 or plantronic bluetooth $100…

    • +1

Once you go A2DP, it's very hard to go back to wires.

      • Agree. I have Sony full headphone bluetooth and now looking for one for gym running etc
Your recommendation? I'm 165cm 60kg guy I think I have small ears too

        • +1

I'm in the same boat. My current Logitech H800s just don't cut it for when I sweat as the padding absorbs it :/

A friend has a set of Nokia 505's that fit the bill, but he got them for $40 on sale and I haven't been able to find them for around that price and knowing that they have been that price, I just have to wait.

I tried them on and the sound quality was decent with an alright battery life. Price can be pretty cheap. I've been thinking about getting a set off eBay (which I'm almost certain would be knock offs for their price), but I keep thinking that I've never found ear phones / in ear phones comfortable and I'm just better off using the H800s and buying cheap padding off eBay for when they get a bit too grotty.

Having said that, the H800s have been great. I use the USB RF switchable function for my PC (for stereo + mic as A2DP doesn't allow mic +stereo) as much as I use the Bluetooth function.

          I bought these http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AIRUOI8/ref=pe_385040_121528360_…
          but haven't received yet.

        • @alittlelewd:

i think you mistype the nokia, 505 is mobile phone model?
anyway, you cant use full headset .. lol… have you research plantronic or jabra or blueant.
all have sport versions of earphone

        • @erwinsie:
Nokia BH-505 sorry. I would need a set similar in design with the back band as the normal design without band causes them to pop out of my ears too easily when exercising.

Here's a set of what I would feel confident are genuine.
          http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/REAL-Nokia-BH-505-White-Bluetooth…

Here's a set of the copies.
          http://www.lightinthebox.com/bh505-sports-stereo-neck-band-b…

        • @alittlelewd:

sorry but it is old… bluetooth only 2.1
if you have $100 budget check my post below about 3 big brands
yes i dont like ear buds because i have small ears always falls even when i sit on the train!

        • @erwinsie:

          http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bluetooth#Bluetooth_v3.0_.2B_HS

BT 3.0 offers no functionality over 2.1 for listening to music. It's no wonder why that even though it was released in 2007, that most our audio devices still use 2.1 to this day.

          http://gizmodo.com/5232940/giz-explains-everything-bluetooth…
Actually it's better on battery life apparently, so there's that. But the big steps for music listening were between 1.0 and 2.1. With 3.0 it opens video streaming over Bluetooth though, which is cool.

        • @alittlelewd:

yes there are something to add for every version :) usually, less battery consumption.
          jabra rox uses bluetooth 4.0!

  • It seems that we have 2 versions of this headphone:

One version has 2 lines from ear buds:

    Amazon

    ebay

One version has only one line:
    Senheiser

Not sure the difference, bought! And now the time for the search and review :D

    • +1

that is PMX.. this one is PX
PMX is neckband… PX is headband (hint: where it rest…)

Thanks mate, trying to edit the post but there was 403 error!

    Thanks OP. Got one

  • Sales went up real quick. COTD should be paying us ozbargainers for the boost in products being sold. XD

    don't worry wrong thing

  • 140 sold…

    • When I posted it a couple of hours ago it only had 30 sold.

      • 308 sold now!

  • Have both these (PX) and neckband version (PMX) and find them both great for running. The neckband version is more comfortable overall but you really can't go wrong with the headband version at this price.

    • I have been using the PMX685i and find them excellent for running. Paid $80 for them however (on my second pair now)

This is a great price for the PX685i. Bought two at this price and will try them out.

  • Damn, such a good price. I saw it was around 88 bucks on a Chinese B2C website.

  • cant go wrong with $15 sennheiser

    • Say that to people who bought the HD-201s.

      You can go plenty wrong!

      • Maybe for $15 or even $25 their expectations were a bit too high for the HD-201s. Or there could be knock off floating around.

  • very good price!!!!! amazing!

Hi guys. I ordered this product with the code for free shipping. On ebay, it shows it deducts the shipping cost. But then, I checked paypal, it costs me 22.95? What is up?

    • I also had the same problem, but didnt look properly when checking out with paypal and hence got charged with shipping. Sent them through a message to see if they can hopefully refund the cost.

    • Check if your ebay account is using the same email address as Paypal.

      Quote
      "Terms and conditions.
12.Your eBay.com.au and PayPal accounts must be active at the time of redemption (not suspended nor made inactive by eBay or PayPal) and be registered under the same email address. "

    • Same I just got charged 22.95 through paypal even though ebay invoice says 14.95. I have the same email address for both ebay and paypal.

Might check it tomorrow and see if it comes through as a credit from paypal which I have a feeling it will.

    • I bought something else from them and pretty much am in the same situation as you. I then checked my net banking and only the correct amount was deducted.

Edit: You should also check your paypal statement, there should be 2 funding sources. One is from your funding source (card, bank account - whatever) and the other should say " - the shipping cost AUD- Free Shipping Frenzy! #CSHIP4FREE".

    • omg i am getting downvoted for asking a question. :(

  • For those that have run with these, are the cables long enough to withstand the "stretch" that will inevitably occur when you stride assuming the phone is in your pockets?

  • +1

    brought. good find OP

I hate COTD because of their expensive postage and handling

    but with this CSHIP4FREE code

    everything is awesome

  • Hi folks,
Is the purshase on COTD ebay store eligible for the refferal link?
    Thanks!

  • -1

Did anyone check their Paypal accounts?
I bought 2 pairs, put in the code, on ebay, it said $29.98.

but once I checked paypal, a total amount of $37.94 was deducted.

I made a whole load of purchases. totalling what ebay said was 104.71, with CSHIP4FREE, the new total was $51.85, but when I logged into paypal, I had been charged the full $104.71.

    • +2

Check your credit card transactions and the paypal funding sources at the bottom of the paypal transaction (there should be 2 funding sources - 1 is from you and the other is for the shipping that isn't taken from your funds).

      • Thanks, looked into the details. and found this.
        "$52.86 AUD - Free Shipping Frenzy! #CSHIP4FREE"

        • +2

No worries, I went into panic mode when I saw my paypal account (until I noticed the bottom part) lol

    • +1

      you scared me yiubin lol

after reading your comment i checked paypal too and saw i was charged 22.95$

but then read watty comment and once click details shows voucher of
      Funding type:
      Redemption Code and PayPal Funds
      Funding source:
      $7.96 AUD - Free Shipping Frenzy! #CSHIP4FREE
      $14.99 AUD – PayPal Account

      thanks watty

Thanks OP. I've been wanting to buy the Sennheiser 685i for a while but could never justify the $60 minimum price tag. I was particularly keen for the PMX behind the ear version, but like everyone else is saying, $15 for the PX headband version is hard to beat.

  • Looks like it's over.

  • bummer, just about to buy and missed..
should have bought before research all the reviews…..

  • Yes it looks like they've may have run out of stock as I can't get it as well.

  • Expired. Good.
Save me from having another headphone that I probably wont use…

  • Considering all the people surprised it was this cheap and the other prices some stores are selling it, I'm beggining to question if its genuine…

    • Well, that was quick. The headphones arrived today. Yes, they are genuine.

VERY happy with the bargain price. Most shops sell them for $80+
      Thanks OZBARGAIN !!

  • I really shouldn't have missed this deal as I only started running recently and realized normal ear buds won't stay in during the run. I wish there was a kind OzB'er who bought an extra pair and would sell them to me, I could pay an extra $10 to cover the shipping…
