OOT is one of those games which hardly ever gets a good discount. While other games come down to $44 etc this is always at least $50+ on special. So it's a great price in store. You may want to add + post for the online store. Says min is $9.95 but I haven't got an account to confirm.

    Thanks for sharing.

    • nah i purchased one just before, came up to 39.80 not including shipping. my shipping was 9.00 but i bought other stuff as well.

    • +1

Nintendo games in general don't get discounted much. The Player Classics label of Twilight Princess on Wii still sells for $45, which is a joke considering how old it is, and it has a budget label.

this used to be on sale at Target for $15 or so awhile back.

    • highly unlikely you can find copies at that price anymore

      • Are you referring to the original N64 Game from 20 years ago?

Because thats right, $15 is a very unlikely price for that game.

        • I actually got my original OoT for something like $15 years ago when I was still a kid, but I always thought my dad purchased it from K-mart.

    • OOT of time is on the 3DS, you're thinking of The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword

      • +1

Ocarina of Time of time? I will go get the money to pay for it from the ATM Machine.

    • +3

I bought three copies at that price. Already had one but gave one to my son to play and kept us both one sealed copy each to collect.

      • -2

        Collect? Why?

        • +1

          Because.

        • Because in ten years it may be worth 2.5x the purchase cost

        • @Agret:
The original maybe, not the 3DS remake. Even if it does happen to be 2.5x, 10 year investment for $60 profit doesn't seem worth it at all.

        • @PainToad:

          Nothing to do with money.

There is also a Star Wars Saga on Bluray for $44.98 among the Toys r Us Clearance stuff. Seems decent enough.

    • Thanks :)

    • good deal

    • Nice! Was thinking a couple of days ago I'd love to own this, but not at the $96 JB Hifi is asking.
      Thanks a ton!

      • aaannnndd its in my hands today. nice.

    • You can emulate 3DS games at full speed now? How do play without the touch screen?

Jubba was referring to N64 emulation… there is still no emulator for 3DS and probably never will be, but that doesn't change the fact it's still awesome being able to play this game on a hand held console.

        • N64 version

          Dropped.

      • good question

  • +1

This is a very good price. I picked it up from EB Games during their "biggest sale ever" and it was still $57.

  • +2

This game looks beautiful on the 3DS. I was so certain it wouldn't, due to how underpowered the console is, but they pulled it off!
This and a link between worlds is a MUST HAVE for every 3DS owner imho.

    • Low power yes but many times more powerful than the N64

Combine with this deal - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/155762 - from the other day for free shipping on an order of $49 or more.

For this particular Zelda deal, lets you get another $10 item instead of paying $9 for shipping, basically - I went with the Star Wars blurays mentioned above and http://www.toysrus.com.au/super-mario-battle-racers/w1/i2643…

  • One the topic of DS games, I highly recommend "Cave Story", it's only $10, downloaded from the Nintendo store.

    • yeah i downloaded it last night, been meaning to for ages.

been playing it all morning, great game so far!

    • How does it compare to cave story+ on Steam?

  • can you pick it up instore?

  • Great find… although I picked mine up when DSE was selling off their Gaming stuff. Picked this and Street Fighter 4 for $10 each plus a 3DS for $99.

    • i was so devastated when i missed out on that. then target and similar one. 3ds xl 99. so pissed i missed out on it.

      • I was sad that I missed out on the XL one from KMart (not sure if my local had them or not, but the feeling of missing out is strong lol :)).

Hi, I am jlogic and I am an OzBargain-olic and I have a problem. I just buy things because they are cheap. I feel upset when I see Expired and Out of Stock.

  • I price matched this at EB Games Sunshine, just to let anyone who might want to ask their store to price match this.

  • Hey guys, promocode PAYPAL for free shipping when using PayPal on orders over $49!

  • Out of stock now.

  • I received my copy today. It was not sealed in plastic and came with quiet a few scratch and scuff marks on it. Did others receive theirs sealed in plastic? Little bit disappointed.

    • Mine was like you described.

      • Sorry I confused myself - I didn't order OoT, but my Star Wars Blurays from Target were like you described…

        • from…. Target?

        • @theguyrules:
Wow I'm really not doing well. The Star Wars bluray set I got sent by Toys R Us was unwrapped, scuffed and had price tag stickers and stuff on it

        • @Hessian Sack: you bought the Star Wars blurays from Target and Toys R Us? :p

        • @Hessian Sack:
I got the blurays from target and mine were wrapped and in perfect condition. They were sent from Garden City in Brisbane (which is 10 min drive from me).

  • just got mine, same, mine looks like its been water damaged. the booklet inside looks trashed. ive been trying to call them but all i get is a answering machine.

    • I emailed twice but no response. Given that it was a clearance I'm sure they want nothing to do with us.

      • can i ask which email address did u use.

i just saw The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword for the wii has dropped even more, to like 28 buxs, but iam hesitant, Due to what just happened with oot on the 3ds. Might get another dodgie copy.

first time buying from toys r us online, and prob last time.

        • I replied through the site and customer care person who emailed my originally to tell me my order would be split up due to stock being sent from different locations. Didn't receive any replies from either. This was three days ago.
