Cheapest La Premiere tickets around! Pre-purchase for some of the current blockbusters. Only till end of August. (Obviously Optus customers only).
Valid for 2D movies at participating cinemas, except after 5pm Saturdays. $20 La Premiere vouchers can't be redeemed for general admission tickets, the Bean Bag cinema, Xtremescreen, Hoyts IMAX, Director's Suite or special or group events.
Similar, not as good AFAIK. However you get free popcorn and softdrinks. Same butler service, food isn't too bad either (and alcohol).
It's not very good IMO, and it's definitely no gold class.

The food we had was crap (mind you this was some years ago and may have improved since then). We paid a premium for chicken strips and got Ingham or generic brand chilli chicken tenders.
Seats were slightly better than regular cinema seats. You're in the same room as the regular seats, but you're in a separated section at the back of the room.
Overall, it's good if you want to go nuts on popcorn and soft drink, otherwise save your money and get regular seats.
Menu has been upgraded, food is similar to Event Gold Class menu (which is delicious)
Saw the last xmen at la premiere and had a cheese platter which I was impressed with

Yes if you want a big comfy recliner, free drink and popcorn and or food brought to you during the movie. My wife and I have gone La Premiere a couple of times just for a treat. Nice wedges and sour cream etc, delicious big sundae.

No Recliners, recliners only available at Hoyts Directors Suites (Equivalent of Event Gold Class with separate theater)

Just get a friend who is on Optus post-paid and ask him/her to sign up. Easy, then just buy
if you bought a prepaid optus starter pack, and signed in can you get this offer, or do you need to have a long term plan/internet?

I have never find the La Premiere to be attractive.. I'd rather use the extra money to buy another $10 ticket and watch another movie.
Can I use a hosts gift card to pay for it?
Never heard of this. Is it the same as gold class. Does not look like there is one in SA?
