Sounds like its been sold at way cheaper prices in the past.

    A) It was $299 RRP last year (and $199 on clearance)
    b) Ignore the inflated 1000W PMPO rating, it's only 195W RMS according to the spec sheet
    c) It doesn't support modern codecs like TrueHD or DTS HD-MA (standard Dolby and DTS are fine though)

At $199 you might have a deal. But $349??? If you want a cheap home theatre in a box, you can pick up a Pioneer HTP072 for $397 at JB and it's often discounted/on sale for less.

    • Yeah saw it $199 before and still nobody buy it.

  • I passed on buying this from my local aldi store a month ago for half price $175.
Looked too cheap amd me worth me buying.

Better off with the Pioneer or Yamaha systems, they have been as low as $199 before.

Ouch. Wonder why the price went up so much. I hadn't seen the other deals before, only searching for recent similar deals. Didn't realise this was the same as older deals.

    Sorry for wasting everybody's time!

By making this post everyone is now aware of it, and knows it drops in price significantly after time (as per comments). I suspect there will be a long queue of ozbargainers waiting for the drop.
