  • Damn this looks tempting. Am I right in assuming that if I'm a 10.5 (UK) in Nike's Pegasus, then I'd be a 10.5 in the Lunarglide as well?

Also, where do they ship from? Site's hosted in the UK and the sizing is all UK.

    • +1

I reckon you would be safe,Nike sizes are usually the same
      with each "model".

    • +1

      From the UK like Startfitness.

    • +1

Better try them in store first.

Nike sizing are not consistent from model to model.

  • +1

    Tempting!
My Lunarglide 4 is quite big for me I do want another pair…
    Orange looks nice…
    Must…Resist…

      Kazines,
A comfortable running shoe will prevent your foot from sliding around. Incorrect foot posture will lead to injuries. you can however wear thicker socks so the shoes will fit better.

If you run more than twice a week, a biomechanist, will recommend running in more than one pair of shoes. There are several hypothesis for this such as different shoes provide different types of support and it takes the foam of the shoes 48 hours to recover to its original state but the general conclusion is wearing the same shoes increases the chance of injury. some claimed as much as 39%. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/24286345

      • That's really good info, cheers

  • Great price! Too bad I don't fancy any of the colours for females (I like purple/pink/black) Great deal though! :)

If your foot rolls a bit inward and you need some support at the arch and heel but don't want to wear a heavy shoe, this is for you.

Amar89, i believe they have a warehouse in Melbourne. I've bought several times from them, never had a problem.

    • +2

Yes they hav a return address in Australia (saves you postage costs). Good company to deal with. I had a faulty bike light that didn't work. They just sent out a new one, and I didn't even hav to send the faulty one back.

  • Very tempting. Have a pair of 4's, always slipping them on as it feels like walking on cushions… AF1's feel hard

  • any idea on how these compare with the nike free run 5.0's?

    • +3

Yeah I just switched to these from free runs. Lunar's have a more cushioned sole with better heel and arch support.

  • These are awesome shoes, I bought a "Freak Pack" pair from Eastbay
    http://cdn.solecollector.com/media/sneakers/images/Nike-Luna…

Unfortunately I'm size 15US (14UK) or I would have bought another pair.

I have 3 pairs of Air Max+ 2013 and the Lunarglide 5 is a much lighter and more cushioned shoe.

If you do a lot of walking, running or standing all day I couldn't recommend these highly enough.

  • +1

Might buy 2 pairs for me and my girlfriend, thanks OP.

    • No worries!

  • Just bought two pairs of these at nike factory outlet - cost $220 total. I'm not too upset.

  • +1

    My first ozbargain purchase!
    Thanks OP +1

      Welcome to OzB!

  • How do these compare to the Kayano 20?

  • +1

thanks OP, picked up a pair of the orange ones

  • They don't have UK size 6 or 6.5? that is size 7 or 7.5 US for male?

  • Dudada de dadada.. Wiggle Wiggle Wiggle

    Awesome deal thanks mate.

  • I went to order, but it asked what county i'm from. Its a mandatory field and i didn't think we needed to know counties in Australia. No idea what to put in the field

    • You probably worked it out by now, just place your state or territory in there.

  • Anyone get their Lunarglides yet?

  • OMG these are wayyyyy too pretty. http://www.wiggle.com.au/nike-womens-free-50-shoes-fa14/

How much do they usually retail for in shops here?

  • +1

    Prepare to cry whoever bought…
Start fitness has this one at aud 81 after vat removed and ten percent disc

    • Don't know what conversion rate you're using, but the Lunarglide +5's come to $107 AUD (and that's not a CC exchange rate, which are almost always worse). Even with 10% off, that's $96.3.

      • +1

I have bought it. Final price is pound 44.60 so using Xe.com equal to aud 81. Maybe bit more but I think cheaper than wiggle. Am I wrong?
Fyi. Don't forget about vat. Vat will be removed in checkout.

Nice find. However, for those interested:

How to obtain price match here

        • @Oldbugger: Well I gave it a shot with the price-matching as per erwinsie's calculations (with screenshots of the checkout page to back it up). Will report back and see what Wiggle say.

        • @Amar89: Negative on the price match folks.

StartFitness are not on Wiggle's incredibly limited, "authorised list" of retailers they can match for Australian purchasers: http://www.wiggle.co.uk/h/option/productpricing#

That pretty much rules out price-matching for online competitors.

        • +1

          @Amar89:

Ok next time remember compare wiggle startfitness and forgot another store name
