  • Good timing, cheap Mizuno too!

Considering we're supposed to be tight-bottomed penny pinchers, this question has always bothered me:

what sets a $180 Nike/Asics running shoe apart from a $60 "running" shoe?

I have both and prefer the pricier ones despite the damning fact that they have frequently dissappointed me (I'm looking at you Nike Air Pegasus 25s).

I definitely understand where you're coming from, some of these brands invest heavily in R&D and also marketing, hence the more expensive price tag for a 'branded shoe'. There are probably instances where a $60 shoe may do just as well as a $180 shoe in certain respects, but I can speak from experience that some technologies definitely help to absorb impact, are more adaptable to certain types of feet, and on top of that will probably have a colour that fits your specific taste. At the end of the day, some people just prefer a branded product, hopefully that helps abit to answer your question.

    comparable with wiggle and startfitness?

Some of our shoes are comparable, but we have much shorter delivery times, even the option of same day delivery if you're located in metro Sydney. You're dealing with an Australian company with your purchases and returns, so it's less hassle for the Australian customer at the end of the day.

Yet you don't stock Adidas. Rightio then.
