Jetstar currently has great airfares on offer to Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam.

There's plenty of seats available in Nov & early Dec 2014, as well as Feb & Mar 2015.

      For Vietnam… it's around $95 if you want to get it done locally + postage.

      If you want Visa on Arrival it's around $65-75AU + a possible long wait in the VISA queue.

    A good deal but don't get carried away with these local 'net-based accommodation deals. Mrs B and I are off to Vietnam soon and the resort we are staying is well under $40 a night, including brekky for 2 and free wifi. And it is incredibly luxurious; it would be $250+ in any resort in Qld.
    It pays to shop around too. Our deal started at $56 a night, which is still pretty good, but Mrs asked them for a discount for staying more than 5 nights and got it!
