    These are the longest shelf life, longest runtimes, safest to leave in a car exposed to the heat of summer etc. Will also operate nicely in very cold conditions.

    Pricey generally, but a great battery chemistry nonetheless.

      I agree that it's a great battery chemistry. I got a pair with a digital camera, hung on to them for a couple of years, put them in the next digital camera I bought, and got two years usage out of them. Don't have need for them myself but they are batteries worth considering if going to rough conditions.

    I prefer there to be more landfill so there's more space for me to do burnouts in my Ford F450, but I know what you're saying about toxic waste and stuff.
