Just remember, thats a mineral base oil.
And the 'ful syn' from their range is hydrocracked group 3 oils.

Basically; if you do 10000km oil changes normally; do 7500km.
The performance drivers will already be doing 5k changes so need not apply :P

  Is it the same case for Castrol Edge 5-30w? I've been using that and only change oil every 15,000km or so in my 2008 Mazda 3 afaik.

There's Shell Helix Ultra 5w-40 for $34.99 a pop. Not as cheap as before (under $30…) and you can never have enough oil piled up at home.
