        I ordered M16 LED down lights from your store and I had to cancel my order. When I tried to contact your support team, i received below email which is not right that's what I feel. I cancelled my order even before I received them and I don't really understand why should I pay 20% restocking fee? It's unfair if customer circumstance change why they should pay this restocking fee? I am very disappointed and I won't buy anything from your shop that for sure.

        Since your cancellation request is sent after the shipment has been done, if you still want to cancel the order, you can refuse the delivery and ask them to return to the sender.

    These look to have no heat fins, just a plastic shell. In my experience, the internals will get hot and burnt out (for want of a better expression.)

    Good price, but if so environmentally friendly if they are to be replaced regularly.

      One wonders if these 'bulbs' are legal to import and to use in Australia.

      Are they 'safe'? I can see no evidence that they have the required Safety Certification for Australia.

    I dont neg this for now coz the 5W is not too bad for a Dollar but the other one is not a bargain
    you can buy this cheaper elsewhere
    here is the same thing , same spec and same cert, 15W supports 85-265V blah blah for $3.5 AUD del from HK

      Short story; if the base is not spiral (E27) then is Bayonet (B22)

      Long story; In Australia the standard for domestic purposes is Bayonet 22 mm (B22) mostly British ,
      in some places people might use Edison screw 27 mm (E27) mostly American.
      you can also purchase a converter, but let some licensed agent install it.

    These 15w exposed bulbs are a safety risk. You don't want to try to unscrew when bulb is on. If you do not have earth leakage on your light circuit it might be the end of you. From what I hear the supply for these things is just a clipper circuit. Nasty shocks on the soldering either side of each led.

      dont really understand the technical jargon, but are you saying only the 15w one is unsafe (eg. risk of electricution?) or both the 15w and 5w? How do you pick a safe one to buy? Thanks! :)

        5W is different construction - all enclosed plastic globe, like a normal light bulb. 15W has exposed electrically connected solder joints onto the LED light elements, so could present potential risk if you touch it. These should be at low voltage - but there is no way I would touch it when on, just in case.

        I would not be too worried.
        But always turn off electricity before installing/removing bulbs. Don't touch the bulb at any time.

        Has been recent media coverage of woman electrocuted while using headphones with phone on faulty USB charger that did not comply with Australian electrical standards.

          I have a some ebay and other import bulbs in my house and I generally think they would be safe as they would fail open circuit. Mine are the one with a cover on there. I chucked my uncovered LED corn bulbs out recently. Too worried i'd be away and my kids or wife would try and change one with the switch on. I would question folks that sell exposed terminal C-tick globes because It puts the rest of the stock into question.

          I dont see why anyone would buy rubbish globes now that quality LED globes are under $10.

          Being in the distribution industry myself. I would be embarrassed to die from a shock whilst changing a lightbulb, probably less embrassing than being found hanging choked on your belt with your pants around your ankles but who's judgin right?

          I would be surprised if every person here had never inserted a fresh globe with the switch accidentally in the on position. If you really think about it the danger is there.

          If they have a cover they are probably ok. But really these 5w globes would struggle to do 250lm. A light that isnt bright enough for a room is just a downer. Last time i was in Aldi they had a pack of three 9.5w very decent LED BC or ES for $25. There also hardly any point getting rid of good CFLs for Rubbish LEDs.

          Even though I posted not to change bulbs with the power on… I did it the other day. Was replacing a couple of candle bulbs in a multi bulb fitting. There was a slight difference in light output, so was swapping bulbs to even the effect. But the bulbs were fully enclosed plastic, so safe enough.

          (Coles was clearing their "energy saving" Mirabella 9W=40W 470L small bayonet Candle CFLs, reduced from $12 to 50c. Limited stock store special, so did not post deal. Output was patchy, but was able to swap for good ones at another Coles!)

          Laziness often wins over safety, even for the experienced.

      Good feedback - still waiting for my 5W order. (Ordered 30 July, shipped 5 August, so a while longer) Also waiting on July 22 order of 6W BC bulbs (shipped July 30)

      Received some small G4 spotlight bulbs in a small padded envelope yesterday - 5 days after shipping, 9 days after order! (Ordered July 28, shipped August 1, delivered August 6)

      Met the postie who was scanning the code. Very impressed with my first delivery, especially as 2 x 200L G4 small halogen replacement LED globes for us$3.50 delivered fast is a great deal. Working great in desk lamps.
