    It's just the music licensing as far as I'm aware. Since they couldn't get the rights to all the songs they used in the TV show.

      Well they prob could get the rights, but they didn't want to pay for them.

      My sister has the full series on dvd and she reckons there are a few other relatively minor edits. Apparently there was some replacement of some very minor/grey area "unsuitable" language. Also, some minor timing edits to suit the different music.
