really not sure I'd use something like this
I'm happy with my pebble, so don't need this one. I do like the pebble though and assume this would be similar in some ways. Don't miss phone calls any more as the watch buzzes…. can read text messages and even send a quick reply using it…. change tracks whilst driving in the car…. all in all really handy. Not sure how water resistant the Sony is though - the pebble charges through a special cable whilst the Sony uses a micro usb port - the usb port would be handy, but suspect it would impact on the water resistance. Battery life with the colour screen would be a question as well, versus e-ink.
@PlasticSpaceman:
I purchased my Pebble via the MassDrop deal a little while ago. I would not go back to another watch at all. Plus, Pixel Miner is awesome! I purchased the normal one and have attached a black steel band to it. Looks good and serves its purpose :D BUY ONE! (not affiliated with the Pebble team at all)I also have replaced the pebble standard band with a black steel "deployment clasp" job and put a brushed metal 'skin' on as well (http://www.gadgetwraps.com/pebble-how-to/gloss-matte-brushed…) to protect the screen. Looks great.

It is OLED, so can be always on with very little power - just dim and not many pixels.
OLED is perfect for this sort of thing. I miss my old OLED phone that displays time and notifications on the standby screen.Do you have a link where you purchased the steel band?
Cheers
Timer just reset to another 90 minutes….
useless battery drainer.
I got one of this, and it's true, useless piece of gadget and the battery run out really quick.
There are limited number of clock theme you can use. Surprise piece of junk from Sony. I'll sell my 2nd hand for $20pp if anyone wants it.Sounds tempting, can you turn on your PM's.
I'm in. PM me if you want to get rid of it.
This video about the 3G Omate TrueSmart Watch was in my Youtube feed a few days ago.
Worth a watch.These are crap. Even the newer SW2 was crap. Fell to piece within a week when I had one, was also very laggy.
waiting for moto 360….
That thing is huge.. and the case is thick as well.
LG G watch is good, but a bit pricey…
Also, smartwatch battery life needs to last at least 7days. I'm not buying one until they are. Currently the best I've seen on one is 4days max.
says it expires in 6 mins
