Shipping is $9.95. You need to update your post with this.

Also why do you need to put OzBargain Disclaimer?

    • +2

yeah, it kills the deal… Better off just getting one from Bunnings.

      • TIL Sansai isn't "cheap and nasty". (I'll have to let the people at Stacks and Crazy Clarks know)

  • +1

    plus shipping in title…

  • +1

lots of unhappy warcom customers on whirlpool about slow or non-delivery ..

    • +1

maybe they forgot to pay for shipping ???

      • +2

yeah and warcom forgot to ship the items.

        • Maybe that's why the Rep stated :

"and we've not had any returned to us yet, in 5 years we've been selling them."

          :P

    • Warcom had some growing pains for a 3-4 month period earlier this, but all we've ironed out most of those issues now.

The business was also recently acquired by a publicly listed company also.

Rest assured, we're working hard to win back our customers trust and support.

  • Bummer, I saw "master" in the title and thought this was one of those boards with Master/Slave ports, those smart boards. It's just a plain board with switch. Nothing personal against this deal but there's just no economy in buying power boards online, best to get instore from Bunnings/Masters etc.

and we've not had any returned to us yet, in 5 years we've been
    selling them.

Because at $9.95 it wouldn't be worth returning to you just to get another $4.95 board!!!

    • Most people won't go and just buy one powerboard, they'll buy a couple of things.

$9.95, will also cover all those other things. :)

      • +1

I do not have much business sense but if you are having business with view that most people won't buy only one thing then you are wrong.

      • +2

Most people won't go and just buy one powerboard

Yes, but we're talking about returning them. It would certainly be more economical to return more than 1 at a time, but I would be hoping that there's no need to!!!

  • A plain 4-way power board with a switch for $14.90.

    lol

  • ARLEC powerboards are cheaper from Bunnings.

    Arlec 4 port $3.30

    Arlec 6 port $3.98

    • They don't have switches.
      Compare apples and apples.

  • These are crap quality.
I have one. It makes little internal arcs when switching larger appliances, the switch lights are intermittent. Plastic is flimsy. That arcing is what worries me most. Not at all good for delicate actives. Special comedy points from me as my one is supposed to be a surge board too. IE in my case actually causes micro arcing surges. Kind of like the Firemen in Fahrenheit 451.
    Rating: 1/10 (Very Sh!t)

    • I used couples of Sansai, $10 for individual switch and quality is very good for sub $15 price mark, they don't have surge protection, you need to pay more for a very minimum surge protected board

    • +1

If you have something arcing throw it away right away.

  • +1

    Not individually switched.

    • same product series. same switch type

  • "the switch lights are intermittent."

Totally agree. I have one with the same problem. It makes a cracking noise when switched on.

    • Watch it with surge-sensitive equipment. That crackling noise is arcing. Bad JuJu for sensitive actives such as processors.
Basically just throw it out. If you are using it with any kind of computer/TV, dont!

  • http://m.recalls.gov.au/content/index.phtml/itemId/956684 different model no I think but still concerning.

    • that was 10 years ago. it is hardly relevant

  • +1

I thought only dollar shops will sell this brand?!?! As i work in one of those…
