Agree they are quite reliable, I have had a BlackVue DR400G-HD for 2.5 yrs of flawless recording. It is Full HD 1080p. Cost me AUD$240 including shipping from Korea and a Power Magic Pro thrown in.

NB. This model is only 720p.

These days 1080p Full HD should be expected standard at >$200 per unit…
