    I remember that deal :P - Just re-reading my disbelief at the pricing in the comments thread.
    PS: did you get it for $448 or $438.

    This has the newer 18-55 VRII Lens as well (which makes it smaller)
    As far as i know the cheapest I've seen of the 3200 is Bingers @ $499

  Who would have ever thought a DSLR for the price of a semi-premium compact camera

  Either DSLR are being undersold or more likely semi/premium compacts are wayyyyyy over the odd$

  Strange that, phone-cameras must really be punishing compact cameras sales

  The issue with dslr is the size. Its too bulky and takes time to learn. A few of my friends bought some really nice dslr gears after a couple of months use. They are collecing dust in the storage. Waste of money if you aren't really into photography.
