Funny enough, we have to pay double what US pays….

    $29.95 for 1-month plan ($19.37 in US)
    $28 for 3-month plan ($18.37 in US)
    $27 for 6-month plan ($17.67 in US)

Not sure how this is a bargain

But I am sure a lot of geeks would be happy.
Trouble is we are roughly twice the US price!!

Well I guess this is one way to generate more landfill, sell plastic stuff that people wouldn't otherwise buy through a pricey surprise subscription box.

  • We signed up for this but cancelled after the first month. Maybe we were just unlucky but all the previous crates seemed much much better than ours (ours crate was Feb 2014).

  • these are really not worth it.
read reviews if you doubt me.

  • Code in this post is wrong, should be "villains" (i.e. it's spelled wrong here).

Looks like fun but as others have said, we are shafted pricing wise. Not really a bargain!

      Fixed.

    Since when is $30 double $20 ?

While this might not be a "Bargain" paying $10 freight to get it shipped from the US would seem pretty normal and in fact a lot less than what some places charge.

You do realise that "Free Shipping" just means they add it to the price ?

Pretty sure that there are very few companies that think "Those Aussies are so cool…lets just send stuff half way round the world so our business makes a loss, but at least we keep those ultracool Aussies happy"

If anyone should be complaining about shipping cost it should be the Canadians who have to pay the same as us but live right next door.

If you buy a box of random "Loot", you pays your money and takes your chances.

Maybe it would seem like more of a bargain if you think 10% off saves us $3 but in the US it would only be $1.4 as they have to pay separate shipping

hmm so i am guessing the negs came from the people that cant count ?
and or the ones that +1'd the people that cant count :P
suck it up kiddies, you know im right …you just can't handle it :D

  • Erm, based on the picture and the youtube vid linked to above, this is all young kids stuff; i.e. for ages 8 and under. Since when are little kids toys classified as 'geek stuff'?

I am subscribed to Loot Crate.

After receiving 2 of these, I am not very impressed.
It is fun to receive a surprise each month, but there has been 1 object out of each month that I would actually spend money on.

Considering each object would usually cost around $10 or less, there has not really been any value.

BTW I bought this when there was a 12% discount code which may be floating around somewhere.

This is not a deal, you can get 10% off when you start a new subscription, you can stop and start as you like
