  • Misleading title/Crap price

  • $10 cable is the same as a $90 cable.. rip off!

  • You must be kidding if your comparing these cables to $10 cables..
Feel free to run $10 cables (if you could even get a 10m cable anywhere near $10) through your wall's and ceilings to your progector/tv, which is what a 10m cable is designed for.
These are heavy duty with large wire gauge (to transport 1080p over larger distances), have an alloy connector (not moulded plastic), have nylon steath to prevent damage when pulling through wall spaces, Plus there tested to meet Hdmi 1.3c specs..

  • +1

Works the same as a $5 cable. Ripoff.

    • I should note this is not completely the vendors fault. No one should pay more than $10 for any hdmi cable.

      • you have read this is for 10m hdmi cable right and not 1.5m??

Sorry, I take it back, here's a 10m v1.3 hdmi to hdmi cable (with bonus 2m cable) for $43 including postage. I'm sure you could find one cheaper if you looked hard enough.

          • @Wanon: You can personally recommend inferior products to your family/friends if you like but I wouldnt use them in my home theater so I wouldnt recommend them to anyone else..

Your comparing my cables to a cable which would most likely be a smaller gauge conductor, have no external sheath to prevent damage when pulling throught wall cavity's and use a moulded connector rather than an alloy connector..

People with decent setups and the knowledge in the area know the importance of these points when installing hdmi cables over larger distance through wall cavity's and roof spaces..

Anyone else can make up their own minds if this deal if for them or not..

            • @Customht: And I wouldn't be a fool and throw money down the drain. HDMI is a digital signal, you either get the signal or you don't. ISI even over 10m will only have minimal effect. It's like saying you should buy CAT6 ethernet cabling over CAT5e on a short haul 100mbit ethernet network because it's better shielded.

I'm not arguing that your product is more expensive than other high end cables (I believe it's actually cheaper than some others), what I'm saying it all high end cables in the market are too expensive, and it's people like you perpetuating myths that you'll get a better picture if you just give me an extra few hundred dollars when you buy your cables from me. Even high end cables don't cost that much to manufacture.

People should definitely make their own minds up, but they need to be aware there's no difference between the picture quality among HDMI cables. I'm recommending a cheaper product to all my friends here on OzBargain.

              • @Wanon: I'd like you to find one quote I've ever made to say you will get a better picture quality from using a hi-end hdmi cable( hdmi is digital end of story, it either works or doesnt.. or has sparkles all over screen (one of the problems with inferior cables over longer distances)).. I've only ever been pushing the build quality of my cables and durability, especially when installing in wall cavity's / ceilings etc.. try pulling those other cables through wall cavitys and see how they turn out..

and others making false claims comparing againsst imaginary $5-$10 (when the best you could find was around $40) 10m hdmi cables has killed this deal for anyone who genuinely would have been interested in this deal. So if thats what you intended to do congradulations..

            • @Customht: I would add though, make sure you purchase at least a version 1.3a HDMI cable, that standard offers a larger bandwidth over the pre 1.3 versions. (They all have the same connectors and are interoperable, but are manufactured to a different specification.)

There is minimal changes between 1.3a and 1.3c.

  • So why are people trying to white ant this offer when they must not know anything about hdmi cables, especially when dealing with sending 1080p(full hi-def) over larger distances such as 10m..

  • rip off

  • Well I may look at adding a budget line of cables (only in smaller lengths) if thats really what some people are after.
As I still believe my current cables are well priced for what they are and have been appreicated by many..

  • Not a real bargain..

You need to remember that you should only post offers that offer a real saving to the buying public and if you look other HDMI cable vendors already offer a better price (some with free shipping) then your 20% off price have a look at cable at http://www.jamellcables.com.au/product_info.php?cPath=13&pro…

Even a quick search on Ebay shows the same spec cables from $70 and again some with free shipping.

    • The cable your comparing to is only 28AWG conductor size where as mine are 26 AWG. I would not personally use a cable 10m or over which is not 26AWG.. So I refuse to sell them..
Also does not have an external nylon sheath to protect the cable from damage especially when pulling though wall cavity's and ceilings..

and people wonder why hdmi gets such a bad name when people just want to buy cheaper inferior products.
If you want to compare my products and prices it would be nice if use atleast compared them to a cable of the same specs..

      • Dude, if you read the description a little closer, you will notice it does state their 10m cable is 26awg, so I am comparing apples with apples.

        Still no bargain, sorry.
