  • Officeworks also just dropped their price to $37 online.

    https://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/er-hl-1110-m…

    • Looks like Im lucky I went when I did.

It scanned as $45 in store but the price tag said $38.

Youre not lucky. Its OW's everyday price reaction scam so that only one person can get the 5% discount. They de-stock the shelves nationwide too if they dont like the price they are matching.

Officeworks should be shut down by the ACCC.

        • " They de-stock the shelves nationwide too if they dont like the price "

I hate it when they do this specially during when they have sales. DSE, SuperCheap Auto and Harvey Norman does this too.

  • What type of USB pin does it use? Thanks

As a comparison, I picked up a Brother HL-2130 Mono Laser Printer (HL-2130) from HN for $33 back in Feb 2013.

EDIT: nope, $28 — there was a SUPER WEEKEND $5 discount, says my online order email.

  • If you are ordering online click and collect, dont forget to signup for HN newsletter and knock off another $5, so $32 is not bad for mono laser with 700 page toner.

    • I got it last time it was on Ozbargain for $33 (including $5 voucher). The toner on ebay are also at a decent price. Good quality printouts and very fast for its price/size range.

That has been $10 for a while. I tried about a month ago to buy one, only one Perth store had it listed as in stock when I called them up they said they only had the demo model which was broken.

    • Good luck finding one.

Great price, but it only prints on one side. ie Manual Duplex

    • Thanks for adding that.

  • Not getting emails from HN reg $5 coupons due to traffic :(

    • When I went into the HN website to buy a product it applied the $5- without me putting in a code.

      • That's good. I got my email now.

        • Was it in the junk? I haven't received mine…

  • lol got this when I clicked on the link

  • Remember that it does NOT include USB cable. Standard retail shops are trying to sell that cable for like $10 - $15. You could try MSY for the cable.

I got lucky. I got a Fuji Xerox from Officeworks once at $12.

  • Don't mean to sound like a n00b but would a cable for a HL-2132 fit? Or do they differ between brother HL models… Also the toner costs $53: http://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/brother-tn-10…. I've got a current printer but it would cost $49 to buy toner cartridge for that as well (1000 pages) so think I'll just buy this new printer instead!

    • Printer cables are pretty standard - so I'm 99% sure its a yes.

      • They are the original standard USB cable. Its just that most things apart from printers use mini or micro B-connector.

Pity it's not in the list! LOL https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/143806
