What I find is if you were to book with the Hotel directly, it's actually CHEAPER than booked via agents online/offline and have the coupon expired because you just dont find another occasion to use it.

    I'm just sayin.

  • I have never ever found better deals by booking with the hotel directly.

And as for "and have the coupon expired because you just don't find another occasion to use it" these coupons give you instant discounts, so there's no chance of the coupon expiring.

Last time when I was trying to book a holiday to Fiji, Webjet was having the $100 coupon promo when spending $1000 I think. When use their packaged deal, the total comes to $2800 for four. Hence I end up buying the air tickets thru Skyscanner for $1100, checked out TripAdvisor (booking.com.au or Hotel.com) for the Hotel , price was around $1400, still $300 saving. But end up calling the resort, and booked the same period for only $1200 ( after exchanging from Fiji dollar to AUD $).

      Total cost book directly $2300
Webjet Quote $2800 ( $200 voucher to be emailed to me after 14 days)

If it's your money, I'm sure you'll spend it wisely as well. But Webjet is always a trustworthy website if you just want to do everything in one hit.

      • Thanks for your informative review. Helps me to decide to look at webjet website first, then try other ways to lower cost.

  • Misleading title. Should mention minimum spend.

    • I agree. It should at least mention how much you would need to spend.

  • Great deal when their coupon codes actually debit the amount payable and you find out 4 weeks later your credit card has been charged for the full amount!

      So make a complaint

  • I had the same issue, I made all the screenshots and pay via paypal and even paypal shows the discounted amount it charged me full amount, rang up and was told hotel was handled by team in UK which i will be in touch with 48 hours, lets see how this goes but do screenshots is the insurance policy.

  • webjet honoured the $300 credit, actual saving was $100 bcos the increased the price (applied tax) on check out. didn't bothered to argue further
