So true, although I game with headphones most of the time so it doesn't bother me. Great card though, and a pretty sweet price. Finally, some proper price drops after this whole mining craze.
Are you confusing the noise levels with a reference card?
I own a reference card and playing with headphones is fine.
From memory the Windforce 3 non-reference design by Gigabyte is good at keeping the card cool but it's not the quietest non-reference option available
Just FYI, this exact card will be on sale in ShoppingExpress' EOFY sale on Sunday for $299, so you might want to try and get it then. I'm not sure what kind of stock they'll have or when the sale is on though, I think it starts at 8pm but the card might not be on sale then.

He's talking about this load of damaged stock. Some people apparently negotiated the seller all the way down to $150. Apparently the cards were in working order but as he said, the sale was over before it began really.
cant find those now. the sale was over within an hour or so..
great card, but if youre looking for a quiet card inside your PC, this isnt it.
