SONY XPLOD 2/1 Channel Amp XMGTX6021 $49 ($100 off) @ JB Hi-Fi

160

This is a great amp $100 off the rrp ($149 - eg http://www.supercheapeverything.com/sony-xm-gtx6021-2-channe…)

This model amp is now discontinued by Sony but who really cares.

It is bridgeable so can run at double the power for a decent subwoofer or you can run stereo or a bit of both.

cheapest on ebay.com.au is $91 by the time you add in postage.

Maximum Output Power 110W x 2 (at 4 ohms), 350W (BTL, at 4 ohms)
Rated Output Power 60W x 2 (at 4 ohms), 75W x 2 (at 2 ohms), 150W (BTL) (at 4 ohms)

Special is not available online. Store stock is sketchy but Parramatta at least is getting more in and I got mine from Castle Hill today where they had one more in stock as at 11am.

150w RMS into a sub isn't exactly going to cause much 'doof' ;)

    Handy for some front splits

  • I Xploded at the sight of this deal.

  • That's a good find. This would be great to run a compact sub-woofer in a ute or some splits!

  • I think it's good for splits.

  • Sorry guys for the noob question, but can I use this amp to enhance the level/quality of sound I get from my factory installed stereo and speakers? Or do I have to necessarily buy extra things e.g. powerful speakers etc.? I own a Toyota Yaris

    • The amp will blow your factory speakers, you'd need to upgrade them at the same time

  • UPDATE: It's now $24.50… incredible.
picked one up along with the $49 sub for a cheap setup

    • 150w RMS at max gains, of which any amp should never be on full gains. So that 450w RMS sub will get maybe 100w… May as well be using a 6x9 instead of taking up boot space with that sub!

    • I can't seem to find it for 24.50. It's giving me $199.
