    nice

  • These are $99 on the shelf in my local EB.

    • Hmmm…listed as $129.95 on their website. Are you sure they aren't the previous version?

      • Yeah they were definitely $129.95 on the shelf at EB when I looked..

        • 100% 2.0 in my store, I already have the Gold (US version) that's what made me take notice. Perhaps they mis-priced it not knowing the difference.

        • Why has some moron came and negged every post in here?

  • can confirm the price as i bought these with my ps4 yesterday.
this is an in store price ($102)

Having used the V1 headset, the V2 is ALOT better.
however im currently having drama with mine trying to work with my ps4, but for the most part, the 3.5mill jack support for phone and vita are great.

    would recommend. :D

Did you install the app? It sounds so much better when not running by a cable.

      • the ps4 headphone app refused to work with it so i do not know yet, however looking at the presets they just come across as garbage.

        • You must have your headset plugged in via USB cable to your PS4 when adding custom presets and the little USB drive plugged into the PS4 at all times when using the headset.

        • The manual (at least for the gold edition) left that bit out so I had to find out by experimentation (and frustration).

As Where's_That_Cake said, you need the wireless dongle plugged into your console AND the USB cable plugged into the headphones to upload custom profiles (and if you have problems with syncing it to your PS3/PS4 console).

The custom profiles for inFamous SS and Watch_Dogs sound amazing on these headphones!

  • So… are these worth it at this price?

    • Yes Tyrus, I think they're great and versatile.

      • I think I'll grab one, GF laughed when I suggested it'll make my shooting games more bearable for both of us while she studies. Hopefully there's still a few available in the CBD or near my local.

        • +1

It'll definitely do that. Even at full blast it's almost impossible to hear anything from just a couple of feet away. I liked this as the kids couldn't hear me playing at night or swearing in games, also I can't hear them killing each other or the wife asking me to take out the bins - win/win

        • Haha, I like that last bit the best. Sold. The surround sound is definitely a plus, as while my television has great specs, the sound just sucks and haven't got enough space for a sound bar or accompanying sound system.

  • What is the different between this one and the one below?

    • These are the new ones.

  • Just went and grabbed a pair from Melbourne, Bourke St for this price. Thanks
